• Terese clashes with Paul
• Georgia and Kyle agree that they want to live together
• Chris punches Josh, and Kate comes up with a plan to help Chris

No 26 - Kitchen: Kyle and Georgia are having a goodbye kiss in the kitchen, as Sheila walks in. She can't resist making a comment, and then Kyle leaves for a jog. Sheila asks how the moving plans are going, and Georgia explains that they're on hold for the moment, though she and Kyle would still like to live together at some point. Georgia asks Sheila if she's OK with it, as Kyle said that she didn't seem too happy, but she says that it was mainly the shock. Georgia then asks if Sheila still thinks that Kate would be a better match for Kyle - Sheila admits that she used to think that, but she's changed her mind, as she's never seen anyone make Kyle this happy.

Warrinor Prison - Car Park: Kate and Chris are sitting in the car, and he's refusing to go inside. Chris doesn't think that Hudson would even want to see him, but Kate says that she had to phone to get visiting permission, and she knows that Hudson wants this. Chris asks what else Hudson said, but Kate tells him to go inside and find out for himself. Chris continues to refuse and says that Kate has no idea how this feels, but she says that she knows exactly what it's like to love someone and then have them disappear completely. She tells Chris that getting answers from Hudson is the only way he'll be able to move on.

No 22: Terese is surprised to find Paul at the door, and asks if there was an early meeting she forgot about. He explains to her that he's been thinking, and he's decided to offer her the job of Head of Operations for the entire Lassiter's Complex. She can't quite believe it, but Paul tells her that he'll still be the owner, and she'll be in charge of all of the day-to-day decisions. She asks if there's a catch, and he shows her the contract, which details her budget and the strict sales targets. She wonders why he's doing this, and he explains that Jack's recent visit made him realise that he wants to leave behind a legacy, so he has other projects on the go. She agrees to read over the contract, and Paul tells her that she'll need to be quick as he wants someone to start immediately.

Harold's Store: As Rhiannon walks in, she spots Terese and asks if she's given any more thought to a promotion to front desk. Terese explains that everyone has to start somewhere, but Rhiannon tells her that she's been working so hard, and Susan has been helping with her speaking voice. Terese is impressed, but says that there are other things to consider - Terese realises that she's referring to her appearance, and says that she'll do anything and work hard to change herself, if Terese will just give her a shot. Terese says that, if someone calls in sick, she'll give Rhiannon a trial run on reception. Rhiannon is delighted.

Lassiter's Complex: As Terese walks to her car, Paul hassles her about signing the contract. She says that she's had her solicitor look at it, and it appears to be fine, though the sales and service targets will be difficult to hit. He says that, if she isn't up to it, he'll have to use a recruitment agency and he starts to make a call, making it clear that the new employee will be Terese's senior. She then finally gives in, and says that she'll have the paperwork on his desk by lunchtime. As she drives off, Paul goes over to a couple of workmen, and says that he'll show them where to put the sign.

No 28: Susan is giving Rhiannon a lesson, and suggests that they start with some role play, with Susan being an angry hotel guest, and Rhiannon on reception. Susan gets more and more angry, until Rhiannon finally snaps at her, and realises that she's not very good at this. Susan says that she was doing well, until she shouted - Rhiannon decides that she'll pretend that she's dealing with Jackson, as he never responds when she shouts at him either.

Warrinor Prison: Chris and Hudson finally come face to face, as they're each shown through to the contact area. They sit down at a table together, and Hudson admits that he wasn't sure if Chris would even turn up. There's an awkward silence, before Hudson asks Chris how he is, and says that Kate mentioned that he'd been having a rough time lately. He explains that, when he was arrested, he had so much going on in his head and he needed time to prepare himself for the future. Hudson asks why Chris didn't reply to the letter, but Chris says that there was no point, as he knew by then that Hudson blamed him for everything. Hudson realises that Chris didn't read the letter, which told him how much he still loved him.

Warrinor Prison: Chris admits that he feels like a total idiot - he was so scared of reading the letter, and he's been acting out for weeks. He tells Hudson that he tried sleeping pills and seeing other guys, but nothing helped. Hudson says that he made the choice to do what he did, and he's the only person responsible for how things have ended up. Chris tells him that he feels like he's in prison too, and he wakes up every morning and thinks everything's normal for a brief second, before he remembers. Hudson takes his hand and says that they have to be realistic about this, as he's going to be in prison for a long time. He tells Chris just to go and get on with his life, as they can't keep seeing each other, then gets up from the table and leaves.

Lassiter's Complex: Lauren is shocked when a paid parking sign is unveiled - Sheila comes by, and they realise that it must be Paul's work, and he's going to suck Erinsborough dry for his latest project. Lauren realises how much it's going to affect her business, as nobody will pop in for a quick coffee if they have to pay for parking on top of it. She decides that she's going to start a protest, and get the media involved, as Paul won't want his attempts at a new, squeaky clean image to be tarnished by an angry mob on his doorstep.

No 26 - Kitchen: Kyle comes home to find Sheila painting protest slogans, and she tells him that she's got all of her self-defence class to come along and protest too. He says that he'll miss her crazy schemes when he moves out - Sheila asks him how serious he is about Georgia, and he says that he thinks she's 'the one'. Sheila is pleased to hear it, and goes to get Grandma Ruth's engagement ring, passing it on to Kyle so that he can propose to Georgia. Kyle is grateful, but says that it's too soon, and he's not quite ready to pop the question just yet. Sheila says that there's no pressure, but when he is ready, he has the ring.

No 28: Rhiannon appears from the bedroom with her new look, complete with toned down hair, make-up and outfit - Susan is very impressed, and thinks that Terese would be mad not to hire her. Sheila then calls by, looking for help with the protest, and is surprised to see Rhiannon - she asks what was wrong with her old hair and clothes, and reminds Rhiannon that there was a time when she wouldn't have sold out her principles for a job at Lassiter's. Sheila realises that she's upset Rhiannon, and Susan gives them a few minutes to talk in private. Sheila then apologises, and says that she was just taking out her jealousy, because there was a time when Rhiannon would have come to her for advice, and now she's turning to Susan. Rhiannon explains that she thought Sheila was upset about her taking the job from Paul, but she'd much rather get some tips from her, as Susan knows nothing about being on the front line in customer service. They hug and make up.

No 26 - Lounge: Kyle is looking at the engagement ring on his little finger and daydreaming, when Georgia calls by to show him her new CD single. Kyle quickly hides the ring in his tool belt, as he congratulates his girlfriend. He then decides that they should go to the pub for a celebration, and Bossy pulls the ring out of the tool belt and hides it between the sofa cushions.

Lassiter's Hotel - Reception: Terese tells Paul that she's signed the contract - and she's also very intrigued about a mysterious delivery. She's about to ask Paul about it, when the protestors start up outside. Lauren stops them in the hotel doorway and asks Paul how he could do this - the paid parking is going to wreck their businesses. He points out that this is his land and he can do what he wants. He then says that, as the new Head of Operations, this matter can now be taken up with Terese, and he goes and gets into the lift with a smug smile on his face, as the protestors start chanting again, and Terese looks furious.
