Recap
• Lauren confesses to Sheila that she's been dreaming of Brad
• Karl and Paul fight over where the new childcare facility will be
• Amber is upset about Ruby flirting with Josh
• Ruby kisses Josh

Harold's Store: Amber is angrily chopping a lettuce, and telling her mum about witnessing Ruby and Josh flirting with each other earlier. As her ranting continues, Lauren takes the lettuce away from her, and says that she thought it was just an interview. Amber says that it looked like a lot more than that, but Lauren tells her not to worry, as Josh probably won't need to see Ruby again.

No 22 - Back Garden: Meanwhile, Josh is telling Brad that he'll be seeing Ruby again, as she wants to do a series of interviews with him. Brad is pleased for him, but then Josh confesses that Ruby kissed him and he didn't immediately stop her, but he did after a few seconds because he still likes Amber.

Harold's Store: Amber is declaring that Josh clearly no longer likes her, as he's already moving on. Lauren suggests that Amber should give Josh the benefit of the doubt, saying that he was only being nice to Ruby because she was interviewing him, but he probably doesn't find her attractive.

No 22 - Back Garden: Josh says that Ruby is attractive, but that's not the point. Brad is pleased to hear it, and reminds Josh that since he split from Amber, his times have dropped, so clearly it's affecting him.

Harold's Store: Lauren is also saying that the break-up has affected Amber, and she needs to talk to Josh and sort it out. Amber refuses to talk to him.

No 22 - Back Garden: Having received the same advice, Josh is also refusing to talk to Amber. Brad points out that the national trials are in a month, so Josh needs to get his head sorted, one way or another.

Men's Shed: Karl is showing Matt the newest addition to the shed - a pool table. He explains that a guy who owns a pool hall at Anson's Corner was getting rid of it, but then heard Karl on the radio and decided to donate it to the shed. Matt is impressed, but can't stay as he has to get to work - and he asks why Karl isn't out campaigning. Karl says that he's pacing himself and waiting for the inevitable moment when Paul stuffs up, then he can swoop in and become mayor.

Harold's Store: Lauren takes over some lunch for Matt, who says that her mum called briefly earlier, and he thanked her for helping to cure Lauren's insomnia. Sheila then comes in, to drop off some fliers for the protest that afternoon, against Karl using the community centre as a childcare facility. Matt accuses her of doing Paul's dirty work, but Sheila insists that she isn't and that she wouldn't even vote for Paul, but she doesn't want to lose such a valuable local resource. She points out that with the drastic reduction in classes, Lauren will lose business, and Matt will have to deal with more juvenile delinquents.

Lassiter's Complex - Harold's Store Exterior: Lauren is putting some rubbish out, when Brad walks by and gives her a hand. She says that she can't stop and chat, as she's down a staff member - she had to send Amber home early, as she was upset about Josh and that journalist. Brad says that Amber has nothing to worry about there, and Lauren agrees, but isn't happy to hear that Josh is going to be working closely with Ruby in the lead up to the Commonwealth Games. Brad suggests that the two families should get together for dinner, and give Josh and Amber the chance to talk, but Lauren is reluctant, and tries to make excuses as Brad then has the idea that it could just be a dinner for the adults. She eventually says that she'll think about it, if she can find the time.

Charlie's: Sheila is rallying her group of protestors, and giving out free drinks, when Matt gives in to ask if she's the person who's been leaving flyers all over people's windshields. Sheila says that she has no other way of getting the word out, but Matt warns her that she's breaking the law without a permit, and he'll fine her if she does it again. Sheila finally snaps at him and says that it's no wonder Lauren has been having dreams about Brad. Matt then wants to know what she's talking about.

Lassiter's Complex: As Karl puts up his campaign posters, Matt is looking for advice over Lauren and her dreams. Karl thinks that Matt's got nothing to worry about, but Matt tells him about the sketch of Brad and Lauren's recent sleepless nights, and thinks that it's all pointing to one thing. Karl still thinks that it could all be perfectly innocent, and asks Matt if he's ever had a dream about one of his exes - Matt confirms that he has, but also says that none of his exes live across the street. Matt apologises for dumping his problems on Karl, but asks him what he'd do if this were Susan - Karl says that he might feel the same, but the real issue is whether Matt trusts his wife. They're interrupted by a call from Matt's sergeant, and he has to leave.

Erinsborough Community Centre: Sheila has been joined by a large group of protestors outside the community centre, and Amber is filming. Matt then arrives to try to calm things down, closely followed by Terese, who's come to see what's going on. When Karl then arrives, the crowd starts booing and Sheila tells him that she won't take the centre away from the community. Karl says that he's heard that there'll still be space for all the other classes and programmes and they won't all be crammed into one room, but Sheila says that she's yet to meet a politician who keeps his promises. Terese agrees that the centre is a good thing for the local area, and for the hotel - Karl tries to tell them that a childcare facility would bring in more business, but the crowd just laughs at him. As the chanting starts up again, Karl gets a text from Brad, telling him that there's an emergency at the men's shed.

Men's Shed: Brad watches as Paul shows a property developer named Peter around the building. Paul starts talking about his plans for a childcare facility, and Peter says that he'll have to do some measurements, but the whole building will likely have to come down, and a new one built from scratch. Karl then arrives, demanding to know what's going on, and Paul explains that he's just responding to what the people of Erinsborough have asked for - and he believes that they'll put the needs of the local kids ahead of those of the local blokes. Karl points out that creating a whole new building will be more expensive than converting the community centre, but Paul says that Peter will give him a good price, and as the local council already owns the land, it seems like the most sensible option.

Lassiter's Complex: Paul is chatting to Sheila and the other protestors about how, unlike Karl, he was born and raised in Erinsborough, and he knows what the area needs. Sheila then goes over to Lauren to give the group's drinks order, and quickly mentions that she let slip to Matt about the Brad dreams - just as Matt walks over and completely ignores Lauren. Matt warns Paul about the protests, then Lauren tries to speak to her husband, telling him that he has nothing to worry about, and she only kept it to herself because she knew he'd be upset. Matt asks about the dreams, and Lauren explains that she and Brad are dancing, but the dreams have stopped now and they meant nothing. Matt is silent for a moment, then says that he needs to get back to work.

Harold's Store: Amber comes in, looking for her mum's opinion on her photographs from the protest. Lauren asks if Amber's spoken to Josh yet, but Amber says that she decided that her mum was right - Josh is unlikely to see Ruby again, so it's not worth worrying about. Lauren then says that there's something Amber needs to know...

No 32 - Kitchen: Amber hands Josh a box of his things, including a book and some protein powder that he left at the Turner house. He wonders why she's doing this - she says that maybe he could go and write about it in his diary, the one he's writing with Ruby. Josh reminds Amber that Ruby is just a journalist, and he can't pick and choose who interviews him. He says that he really can't get his sponsors offside either, especially when his times in the pool are down - which he blames Amber for. She says that it's typical of him to blame her, but he then rants at her about how he used to be able to focus on his swimming, then he fell in love with the most annoying woman in the world - and all of the publicity is something that's new to him, so he's going to make mistakes and she can't keep on dumping him every time he stuffs up. He tells Amber that he loves her, she says the same, and they kiss.

No 32 - Kitchen: A little later, Amber is getting some drinks, wearing only Josh's shirt. Josh wanders out and admits that he wasn't expecting that to happen, but they both seem happy that it did. Josh then receives a text, he assumes it's from his dad, wondering where he is, so Amber says that she'll see Josh back in the bedroom. Josh then sees that the text is actually from Ruby, suggesting that they meet up again, and he looks worried.

Charlie's: Brad is reading out a newspaper article about the mayoral race, which is very much in Paul's favour and talking about how Karl is going to have to work hard to win back the locals. Paul then walks in, gloating about the article - but Terese wonders how he's going to convert the men's shed at such a low cost. Paul quickly changes the subject, saying that, unlike Karl, he's putting the needs of the community ahead of those of a small group of men. Karl says that the men's shed is important too, and Terese wonders if there might be another way, and that they could convert a house that isn't being used. Sheila says that a man in her self-defence class died last week - he had no family and a house close to the gym, which would be perfect and wouldn't need much work to renovate it. Karl thinks it's a good idea, but Paul protests that it's a vague and absurd idea and that the men's shed is still the best option - and it will be going ahead when he's voted in.

Lassiter's Hotel - Reception: Paul and Peter come out of the lift, both pleased with how their meeting went. As Peter walks outside, Terese goes over to Paul and tries to find out why he's so adamant that the men's shed should be the location for the childcare centre. Paul refuses to discuss it, so Terese goes outside and catches Peter before he gets into his taxi. She explains that Paul wants to offer him a complimentary meal at Charlie's to thank him for his work, and she walks over with him and starts chatting about his plans for the men's shed.

No 32 - Kitchen: Lauren arrives home, surprised to find that Amber's made dinner. She says that she and Josh got back together, and she's in a good mood. She then explains that she tried to call Matt, but he didn't answer, and a worried Lauren says that he must have decided to work late.

Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Paul tells Terese that he's too busy for a chat, but she then says that she's just had a very interesting chat with Peter Slattery, and he wasn't very discreet. She says that she knows that Paul is going to help Peter's next development gets passed through quickly, in return for giving a low price on the childcare centre. She threatens to blow the whistle, but Paul says that would bring the hotel into disrepute and would be in violation of her contract, so she'd lose her job.
