Lassiter's Complex: Paul is on the phone when Kate, who still has bits of rubbish stuck to her, walks over. Paul asks what happened; Kate says she is fine, but Paul
retorts that she neither looks nor smells fine. Kate asks Paul what he wanted and he explains he was just checking that everything was ready for later, at the mayoral campaign event. Kate reveals that she has sorted everything. Paul heads off for a
school board meeting, asking Kate before he goes to check the staging, and advising her to take a shower.
Charlie's: Karl is looking at a mayoral poster of himself that he is holding. Glancing up he sees "Vote Robinson" posters plastering the far wall. Sheila heads over and wryly
comments that Paul looks good, but that vampires often age well! Sheila encourages Karl to do the best he can, when he comments that getting the message to people is more important than expensive posters. As Sheila heads off, Susan arrives and wonders if Karl
read her message, as she wants to know what time he will be home that evening. Karl replies that he may be late, as he is still fighting Paul and hurries off as his phone starts ringing. Meanwhile, Kate bursts in to Charlie's, carrying even more of Paul's posters.
Turning around, she sees Sheila watching her. Sheila apologises that she hasn't been a good friend, because Kyle spoke to her and revealed that it was Gem who had planted the email and not Kate. Sheila reiterates that Kyle loves Georgia and explains that she doesn't
want to see Kate get hurt again.
Lassiter's Complex: Outside on a bench, Imogen is reading "Breakfast at Tiffany's". Mason heads over, carrying a large box and sarcastically asks Imogen why she is.
Loitering around waiting for him. Imogen replies that she is actually hoping to run into Bailey and enquires about how he is. Mason replies that Bailey is feeling down about what he did; Imogen replies that Gem is the person to blame, not Bailey.
Mason thanks Imogen for what she did to help Bailey, and when she says the hardest part was pretending to be Mason's girlfriend, he responds that he thought it would have been easy for her. Jokingly, Imogen replies that she is too hot for Mason.
Before he heads off, he asks her to wait, because he has something that will cheer her up.
Lassiter's Complex: Later, in the car park, Imogen is looking in horror at Hermione, her car. It has been transformed into a reindeer, with red nose and antlers attached
to it. Mason urges Imogen to get into the Christmas spirit, despite her protestations that the car is tacky. Reluctantly, Imogen gets in and, when the car fails to start, Imogen sarcastically says that the car is going nowhere due to embarrassment.
No 30: Sheila arrives, greeting Georgia and bringing a beef goulash. Just then Gem arrives: Georgia asks how it went at the police station and Gem replies that it was
alright as the police are sorting it out. Gem notices Sheila watching her and asks if there is anything wrong. Sheila retorts that she is delivering comfort food in very difficult times, causing Gem to slope off for a lie down. After Gem has gone, Sheila
tells Georgia she knows what happened with the email and that Gem put it with the others. Georgia sarcastically says that, if the news came from Kate or Kyle, the pair are hardly trustworthy. Sheila replies that Georgia has every right to be angry, but
asks if planting the email is something Kate really would have done. Georgia wonders if sleeping with Kyle is something Kate really would have done, and adds that Kate is now using Bailey to set up Gem at school. Sheila urges Georgia to consider that
families make mistakes sometimes and that it is possible that Gem let her down. Georgia explains she owes it to Gem to stick by her, but Sheila retorts that Georgia owes it to herself to find out the truth. Sheila adds that Georgia has heard Gem's side
and asks whether it would really hurt so much to listen to Kate's.
Charlie's: Paul praises Kate for setting up Charlie's well, with balloons, staging and mayoral posters. Kate asks Paul if he really needs her there that night; Paul
replies that it will be a big night for him and that he wants Kate to be part of it. Kate reveals how bad the situation is with. Georgia and Gem, and explains how her side of events hasn't been believed and that Georgia tipped a bag of rubbish over her
earlier on. Paul asks if there is anything he can do; Kate realises she needs to come out of hiding, and Paul is relieved when Kate decides that she will attend the evening in Charlie's. Before she heads off, Paul asks Kate if she knows why Susan has
called an emergency board meeting. Kate replies that she doesn't.
No 30: Georgia is playing the guitar, when Gem walks in, wheeling along a suitcase. Georgia asks Gem what she is doing, and Gem replies that she can't stay as Kate is
already turning everybody against her. she adds that even Georgia doubts her, although Georgia denies this is the case. Georgia says that Gem needs to stay and fight so that other people don't think she is guilty and adds that she wants what is best
for her. Gem urges Georgia to go overseas with her later that evening, but Georgia replies that they can't as they have neither plane tickets nor visas. Gem asks that instead, they get out of town for the night, but Georgia replies that she can't as
she has both a job and the gig at Paul's mayoral campaign. Gem spitefully says that Georgia will run into Kate at the function, but Georgia says that she can't run her life by Kate and that, if she sees her, she will deal with it. Gem looks worried as
Georgia hugs her, telling her the truth will eventually all come out.
No 28: Paul and Susan sit on the sofa. Paul asks Susan why an additional meeting has been called. Susan is vague, replying that it is just some "school business". Paul asks
if there is anything he can help Susan with, but Susan explains that she has everything covered. As she gets up to answer a knock on the door, Paul notices that she struggles slightly with her leg and that there is medication on the table. Kate comes in to
talk to Susan as Paul heads off. Kate asks what Paul wanted and Susan replies that he was fishing for information about the meeting. Kate replies that Paul had asked her too, and asks what Susan said. Susan said she couldn't tell Paul anything as she hasn't
even spoken to Karl yet. she tries to phone him, but only gets straight through to voicemail.
Lassiter's Complex: In the car park, Mason is busy trying to fix the car. Imogen goes to take off the antlers, but Mason warns her not to touch them. He sarcastically says
that Imogen really gets into the Christmas spirit and asks her about family traditions in her family when she criticises the commercial aspects of the season. Imogen replies that Brad and Josh go to the pool, Terese burns the turkey and then they argue about
who gets to do the washing up. Mason says that in the Turner household, they haven't all been together for a while as he was in the detention centre and Matt often has shift work. Mason adds that they will be giving hampers to people in need this year, and
heads off with Imogen to show her.
Harold's Store: Karl is buying a coffee whilst chatting away on his phone about the mayoral race. Paul saunters over and asks how Susan is coping with the demands of the
campaign. Karl says she is fine. Paul asks Karl if he is attending the opening of a recycle plant. Karl tells Paul he knows Paul would only go because of photo opportunities and thanks him for the heads-up. As Karl goes out, Mason brings in Imogen, showing
her a stack of donations by the door for those in need. Imogen says she is impressed, especially when asked to wrap some cuddly toys for the children.
Charlie's: Sheila comments to Kate how Paul is on form, charming all the visitors and getting in lots of photos. Just then, Kyle heads across, although Sheila leaves Kate
to serve the attending press their free drinks. Kyle apologises for just showing up. Kate asks how Kyle is and he replies that his fiancée isn't talking to him, and that her cousin is a psycho! Kyle gets him and Kate a drink and whilst he clinks glasses with
Kate, Georgia walks in, ready for her gig. Upset she leaves again, despite Paul having berated her for cutting it fine, as he doesn't want anything to go wrong at the function.
Charlie's: A little later, Sheila heads over to Kate and Kyle and comments how nice it is to see them smiling. Sheila tells Kyle she thinks that Georgia could be talked around, despite Gem
twisting the situation to her advantage. She adds that they just need to get Georgia and Kate alone together for a while, and Georgia might just hear Kate out. Kyle comments how awesome that would be as it kills him not having "her" around. Sheila notices that Kyle is
looking at Kate as he says this, and asks who "her" is. Kyle says Georgia, but Sheila points out he was looking at Kate, and says that he needs to be crystal clear with Georgia so that he is not sending out any mixed messages. Sheila tells Kyle to act fast; he races off
to get the guitar he bought her for Christmas, telling Sheila he would declare his love for Georgia that night.
No 30: Georgia arrives home and reveals to Gem she returned because Kate was at Charlie's. Georgia admits she didn't talk to Kate because she was hanging out with Kyle.
Georgia looks sad, before telling Gem they should get out of town for a while. She asks Gem where they should go, as she has decided that she wants to leave right now. Gem suggests a place she knows in the country and gets the laptop to see if they are
available, whilst Georgia heads off to pack.
Charlie's/No 30: Kyle races back into Charlie's with the guitar, nearly bumping into Susan as he does. Kyle asks Sheila where Georgia is; Paul, who is across by the
stage is on the phone, talking in disbelief to Georgia. Georgia is apologising to Paul, telling him something came up and that it is personal. Snatching the phone from Georgia, Gem tells Paul that something has come up before hanging up. At Charlie's,
Kate is surprised when Paul tells her Georgia cancelled and she points out how unlike Georgia that is. Kyle, who is also astounded by Georgia's decision, tries to race off, but is stopped by Sheila who tells him not to barge in making things worse.
At Number 30, Georgia leaves a note on the table, before heading off with Gem.
Charlie's: Karl heads over to Susan, who is waiting at a table ready to talk to him. Susan asks Karl where he has been: Karl admits he has wasted the afternoon at
the recycling centre as it doesn't open until the following week. On the stage, Paul starts his speech, thanking everyone for coming and explains his commitment to the community. Susan tries to get Karl outside for a chat, but he asks if they can stay
to listen to the speech. Paul continues his speech, by saying that his top priority his health and supporting carers in the community. He goes on to say that he wants to support people like Karl, who is caring for Susan, who has MS and wishes him well
as he copes with Susan's MS relapse. Susan and Karl are left horrified as those assembled give a round of applause.
