• Gem tells Georgia that Kate is in love with Kyle, which Kate agrees with

• Paul tells Terese that the contract with the Quill group is a done deal and that soon she’ll be out of a job

No 22 - Kitchen: Terese is telling Brad that she can’t understand why Paul would take the hotel out of the Lassiter's group, and that she doesn’t believe he hates her that
much. Brad suggests calling Lucy, but Terese says Paul is within his rights to do it. Terese then tells Brad that if she loses her job they will lose the house and have to leave Ramsay Street. Terese says she will contact some headhunting agencies
just in case and Brad says he will create a family budget on the laptop.
Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Paul tells Kate that he doesn’t have a grudge against Terese - he thinks it is just a good move for the hotel, Kate says it
just happens to hurt Terese in the process which Paul says serves her right for letting power go to her head. Kate questions Paul about Jack Lassiter's legacy, and the complex, which Paul says will have a name change too and that Jack's legacy isn’t
a building. Paul suggests that he and Kate go celebrate, but she says she is never leaving the penthouse again after admitting to Georgia that she's in love with Kyle. Paul bets Kate that Kyle and Georgia have forgotten about it already, to which Kate
replies that if he thinks that, he is insane.
No 30 - Lounge: Georgia is telling Sonya about Kate’s confession, and that she feels a mess again. Sonya asks Georgia if she will see Gem before she leaves, as she
thinks it will be good closure for her and for Gem. Callum and Toadie bring in Nell, wishing her a happy first birthday. Toadie says Sonya’s cake for Nell looks good, but he is unable to tell it is a flower. Toadie says he’s off to the hospital to help
Auntie Coral with Gem, and asks Georgia is she wants to come, but she refuses. Callum is engrossed in his phone, waiting for Josie to text him that she is back from her holiday.
 
Erinsborough Hospital: Toadie asks Gem how she got on with the social worker; she says that she got a referral to a psychiatrist and that she thinks the pills are working.
Toadie says that she's doing the right thing and Gem says she figures it will help her get her job back at the school - and that maybe Toadie can send them a letter to help her case. Gem hugs Toadie and thanks him for his help and for letting her stay,
at which point Toadie asks her if she know her mum is coming to take her back to Birregurra. Gem looks surprised and asks if Georgia is coming to say goodbye, saying she isn't going until she sees Georgia.
Erinsborough Hospital - Exterior: Toadie is walking Gem to Coral’s car - Georgia then arrives to say goodbye. Georgia wishes Gem all the best. Georgia tells Gem that in a
weird way she is thankful that Gem showed her the truth about Kate and Kyle, but that she is not happy about the way it happened. Gem tells Georgia that she is going to get better, but Georgia tells Gem that they need to spend time apart. They say a
brief goodbye, and Georgia wishes Gemfish well, as she walks away.
No 30 - Lounge: Callum is excited to answer the door to Josie - they then sit on the sofa awkwardly and Josie asks Callum what’s been happening. He says not much,
then he holds her hand and tells her he missed her. They go in for a kiss but bump heads, but they try again and are interrupted by Sonya, who is manically tidying for Nell’s party.
 
No 30 - Back Garden: Sonya, Kyle and Toadie are getting the backyard ready for the party.
No 30 - Kitchen: Sonya is decorating Nell’s flower cake with bees. Callum tells her not to stress, but she gets upset telling Callum she is kind of making the cake for him
too, as she missed his first birthday, and she tried to make him a cake then but she wasn’t up to it. Callum tells her it is fine but Sonya is still upset. Toadie, who has overheard tells her he has never heard that story before. Sonya thinks she is
repeating the pattern, but Toadie assures her she is not and she is just trying to help another young parent in Jacob. Toadie tells Sonya that he and Callum and Nell are there for her.
Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Paul is on the phone to Quill, tells them that Terese is a very good self-promoter, but to keep her on would be a mistake and that he
won’t agree to their terms. After hanging up, Paul tells Kate the only way Quill will sign the deal is if Terese stays on as manager. Kate asks why that is a problem - he says Terese is a mediocre manager, with which Kate disagrees, saying Terese works her
bum off. Kate tells Paul this is personal and that he doesn’t like Terese because Lucy made him hire her, which Paul disagrees with.
No 30 - Back Garden: Nell’s party is in full swing.
No 30 - Lounge: Inside Callum and Josie are making out when they’re interrupted by Bailey. They hint that they want to spend some time alone, but Bailey is angry with
Callum for telling his parents about him meeting Gem. Callum tells Bailey they will talk about it later and that he is interrupting them, so he makes his excuses and leaves.
 
No 30 - Back Garden: Kyle is making balloon animals for Nell, which he learnt online. Susan asks Sonya where Callum is, as she want to hear about his trip to China - Sonya
tells her he's inside and preoccupied with Josie. Jacob tells Toadie that it's a great party, and thanks him for all his help. Toadie says he appreciates what Jacob has been going through, but leaving your kid with a bunch of strangers isn’t on - and that he
put Sonya under a lot of pressure and he isn’t going to apologise for contacting Jacob’s in-laws. Jacob says he understands. Georgia is holding Elliot and she asks Jacob how he is getting with his medicine and being out of hospital. Kyle, holding Nell, is
looking on as Georgia rocks Elliot.
Lassiter's Complex: Terese and Brad are having coffee. Terese tells Brad she has spoken to some headhunting agencies and that the response has been positive. Paul comes over and says they
need to talk about budget projections - Terese wonders if there's any point, if the Quill group are coming on board. Paul tells her the deal is off and Lassiter's is staying Lassiter's. Brad tells Terese she should be happy the deal is off, but she is sure Paul has another
reason for not taking Quill's offer.
 
No 30 - Back Garden: Sonya is opening Nell’s presents; Kyle asks Georgia if they’re talking. He tells her he had no idea that Kate was in love with him, and she says she
believes that, but she wants to know how he feels in return. Before he can answer, Toadie interrupts asking Kyle to find a candle for Nell’s birthday cake. Toadie realises too late that he has interrupted them.
Harold's Store: Kate tries to hide behind her magazine as Kyle enters. He asks if she's trying to avoid him, she says it is not just him; Paul was driving her crazy too
which is why she isn’t hiding in the apartment. Kyle asks Kate if she meant what she said last night and that he had no idea - Kate says she never would have said anything and she knows she has made things worse, but it was nice to finally say it out loud.
Kyle asks when her feelings changed, Kate says it was when she and Mason broke up, and that Kyle was so supportive when she had her health issues. She says she can’t help her feelings and that she is in love with him - it is inconvenient but it is the truth.
 
No 30 - Back Garden: Kyle has brought the candle back and everyone is gathered around the cake.
No 30: Georgia takes the cake inside to cut it up and Kyle follows her to the
kitchen. She says that they never finished their conversation. She asks Kyle if he has feelings for Kate - he doesn’t reply, and Georgia realises that she has her answer. Kyle says he doesn’t know how he feels as he liked Kate years ago and hadn’t thought
about Kate in that way for a long time. He admits that he hasn’t got his head around it yet, which Georgia says is as good as Kyle admitting to her that does have feelings for Kate. She says that if he wants to be with Kate, she won’t stand in his way and
he has her blessing - if that's what he wants.
