Recap
• Toadie is annoyed about Sonya's continued support of Jacob
• Paul tells Lucy that he's taking the hotel out of the Lassiter's chain
• Matt and Lauren learn that Bailey's gone to meet Gem
• Gem suddenly turns on Bailey
• Georgia finds her car outside the hospital

Sonya's Nursery: Matt and Lauren turn up and start calling Bailey's name - he then appears, wondering what they're doing there. They tell him that he was really stupid to come and meet Gem, in the dark, and Bailey is annoyed that Callum couldn't keep his mouth shut. He says that Gem ran off, but she isn't dangerous and the whole thing with Georgia was just an accident. Matt and Lauren accuse him of being naive, but Bailey says that he knows that Gem needs help - though when he suggested that to her, she ran off, and he doesn't know where she went, as he wasn't naive enough to go after her.

Erinsborough Hospital: Georgia is doing the night shift and sitting alone at the nurses' station, when she senses someone behind her and looks round, only to find that it's Kyle, with a pizza. He apologises for making her jump, but she says that she's been a bundle of nerves all evening. She admits that she isn't sure what Gem is going to do, and that it still feels weird to be so suspicious of her own cousin. Kyle tells her that the pizza will make her feel better - she says that she isn't that hungry and asks if he'd like to stay and share it with her.

Charlie's: Sonya and Jacob are having a coffee, and he tells her that he's sorry about her missing dinner with Callum. She says that it'll be fine, and Jacob admits that he's surprised that they're letting Elliott out tomorrow, and he realises that he'll need to pick up some supplies and get organised - which Sonya offers to help with. He says that he can't thank her enough for everything she's done, but she tells him that him making a happy life with Elliott is all the thanks she needs - and she says that he should include Hannah's parents in that life. Jacob doesn't think he needs them, but Sonya says that family really is the most important thing, and she fails to spot the way that Jacob is looking at her.

Lassiter's Complex: Terese is finishing work and leaving reception, when she runs into Paul. She asks him why he was ignoring her urgent messages, and he explains that he was at the hospital, taking on a mayoral debate with Karl. Terese hands him the bar tab from all of his mayoral schmoozing, and tells him that she wants it settled first thing tomorrow morning. Paul asks what will happen if he doesn't settle it, and Terese explains that, as with every hotel debt that isn't paid, she'll call in the debt collectors. Paul then starts to get annoyed and says that this behaviour isn't going to improve the atmosphere between them, and calling in Lucy was a big mistake too. Terese simply says that she knows he was bluffing when he threatened to take the hotel out of the Lassiter's chain, as it means too much to him, and she then repeats her threat of calling in a debt collector, before leaving.

Erinsborough Hospital - Exterior: Karl and Kate are taking the posters and publicity, from the debate, over to his car, and she's not impressed that Paul left her to do all the carrying. Karl says that he thinks the debate went well, and that the voters are seeing Paul as the ruthless business type, and him as the more caring option. Someone is watching them from the bushes, as Karl mentions that he'd like to pop back inside and check on Georgia, as her car was mysteriously returned earlier, though there was no sign of Gem. They then go back inside the building together.

Erinsborough Hospital: Karl checks in on Georgia, who's having a laugh with Kyle, but things quieten down when she spots Kate. Georgia then explains to Karl that Matt called earlier, and apparently Gem met up with Bailey, but then she disappeared again. Karl offers to go and check on one of Georgia's patients, and Kate decides that she should leave. As she's about to go, Georgia asks Kate about her shoulder, and thanks her again for her help the other day. Gem then suddenly bursts in and asks Georgia to help her, as she's cut her hand - Georgia calms her down and says that she'll take her into a treatment room.

Erinsborough Hospital: Georgia is cleaning up Gem's hand, and tells her that she's going to need stitches. Gem explains that she was making dinner when the knife slipped, and says that she's been staying at a nearby caravan park, waiting until Georgia's ready to hear her out. Georgia says that the police would want to hear from her too, and Gem starts to get annoyed, saying that the whole thing was just an accident and she'd never do anything to hurt Georgia. Hearing raised voices, Kate comes into the room, but Gem screams at her to get out, which she does. Gem then insists that she just made a stupid decision when she fled from the cottage, but everyone does the wrong thing sometimes. As Kate waits outside the room, Kyle returns and says that the police are on their way - Kate tells him that they'll need to stay out of sight for now, as otherwise Gem might try to do another runner.

No 32 - Kitchen: Matt and Lauren are trying to find out why Bailey went to meet with Gem - he explains that he just needed to see her and hear what she had to say, pointing out again that he doesn't have a crush on her. He admits that he's now realised that she was just using him again, happy to flatter him when he was saying what she wanted to hear, but then immediately turning nasty when he suggested that she should seek medical help. Matt gets a message to say he's needed at the hospital, so he leaves, and Lauren sits with Bailey and bluntly tells him that Gem was in the wrong, she was his teacher and she manipulated him. Bailey says that he gets that, and Lauren is pleased, telling her son that he can't solve Gem's issues and that she needs professional help.

Erinsborough Hospital: Georgia asks Gem how long she would have stayed in hiding, if she hadn't cut her hand. Gem says that she was just waiting until Georgia was willing to listen, but Georgia then asks if she deliberately hurt herself, like she deliberately caused the quad bike accident. Gem starts to back off, and says that she was betrayed and she lashed out, and that Georgia must understand how she feels. Georgia asks why she had to expose Kyle and Kate in such a public way and humiliate her like that, and Gem responds that she didn't plan for it to happen like that, blaming Georgia for reading it out without reading it first. As they raise their voices again, Kyle and Kate rush in, and Gem turns on them, telling them not to pretend that they care about Georgia all of a sudden. Gem tries to tell Georgia that she's always been there for her, but Kyle stops her from getting too close and Gem becomes hysterical. She accuses Kate of not being sorry for what she did, but only because she was caught, and then blurts out that Kate's in love with Kyle. Georgia looks over to Kate and asks her to deny it - Kate admits that she is in love with him, then runs from the room as the police arrive. Georgia asks them to take Gem away, with Gem still insisting that she's the only person that Georgia can trust.

Erinsborough Hospital: Georgia and Kyle stand around in silence, as Kate is on the phone to Paul, telling him that she might not be home tonight. Matt appears and tells Georgia that a psych consultation is being organised for Gem. He asks whether Kate or Georgia want to press charges - Georgia says no, but Kate says that she needs time to think about things. As Matt leaves, Kyle tries to comfort Georgia, and Kate offers an apology, but Georgia tells them both to leave and turns away.

Erinsborough Hospital - Exterior: Kate walks out of the hospital, still thinking about everything that's just happened.

No 26: A stunned Kyle walks into the house and sits down.

Erinsborough Hospital: Georgia stands in the corner of a consultation room and breaks down in tears.

No 30: An exhausted Sonya walks in and flops down onto the couch, but as she opens her eyes she sees the balloons and presents for Nell. She quickly gets up and leaves the house.

No 32: Lauren is gathering together a recipe and all of the ingredients, as Sonya talks about what a terrible mother she is, to forget to make a cake for her daughter's first birthday. Lauren tries to persuade her to just buy a cake at the store in the morning, telling her not to be so hard on herself - she says that Nell will get a valuable life lesson from this, that Sonya helped someone in their time of need, which is more important than a cake.

Lassiter's Hotel - Reception: As Terese walks in, she spots Paul talking to a mysterious man, then leaving with him. She asks Glen, on reception, why Paul isn't at his function in West Waratah - Glen says that he's been there all morning, and can't tell Terese who the man was, only that he was a guest of Paul's. Terese is intrigued.

No 30: With everyone else still in bed, Sonya is trying to make the birthday cake, when Jacob arrives with some flowers to thank her for everything. She says that they can still see each other, and that he and Elliott should come to the party - as she's talking, he wipes some icing from her cheek. He then leaves, and Sonya feels slightly awkward.

Lassiter's Hotel - Reception: Terese spots Paul, and the mysterious stranger, behind reception, and demands to know who this man is, accessing the hotel's computers. Paul says that it's his hotel, but Terese says that she won't have him doing his dodgy deals in front of her, and she threatens to call security. Paul then calls the man over and introduces him to Terese as Nigel Sheppard, the head of acquisitions for the Quill hotel group.
