Harold's Store: Imogen is very impressed with her mum for standing up to Paul, especially after the way he behaved in that video. Terese says that she's told Brad, but
she isn't sure about telling Josh yet, as he could do without any further pressure today. Imogen thinks he'll be delighted, and that they should celebrate, and she asks Terese what she's going to do now. She admits that she likes the idea of doing
something completely different, but for now, she's happy to just be a mum. Terese then leaves, with Imogen deciding to stay behind and do some study - as she looks up, she spots a young guy at another table, who's been staring at her.
Charlie's: Kate bumps into Kyle, who admits that he only stayed at the party for the free food, and offers his congratulations to her and Paul. He mentions that
Georgia's gone away for a few days, and Kate says that she already knows, as Susan told her. Kyle goes on to say that he and Georgia have decided to close their wedding fund with the bank - Kate wonders why he's telling her that, and he says that
he just wants everything to be out in the open. Kate quickly heads off to mingle, and Kyle realises that he's said too much.
No 22 - Lounge: A delighted Terese is telling Brad about the moment she resigned from her job, and he is supportive, even if it does mean that they might have to
move out of Ramsay Street. He thinks that Paul might even try to find a way to tempt her back, as she's clearly vital to the running of the hotel. They both joke about how great it would be to see Paul have to beg, but then there's a knock at the door,
and Brad opens it to find a box left on the doorstep, containing all of Terese's things from the office. She's annoyed to find a small vase has been broken, as Imogen made it for her in primary school, but she's even more annoyed to find a letter saying
that the family are being kicked out of the house, and that Paul is suing Terese for breach of contract.
Harold's Store: Imogen is reading a book on Contract Law, and the guy is still staring at her, so she asks him if there's something he wants. He comes over and says that
his name's Isaac and he was wondering if he could borrow her book. She refuses to give him her name, and wonders why she would lend him her book. He tells her that she's clearly an intelligent and generous person, and she softens a little but then tells him
to go to a library. He says that he has a problem with overdue books and late fines, and says that they can arrange to meet here the next day and he'll return the book to her. She finally agrees and hands over the book - they shake hands and she tells him
her name.
Ramsay Street: Lauren is upset to learn from Brad that the Willises have to move out, and she asks where they'll go. He says that they'd like to stay in the area, and
that they won't let Paul intimidate them - plus he thinks that Terese would win in a head-to-head with Paul anyway. He says that it feels like the move back to Erinsborough was meant to be, and he asks Lauren if she believes in fate. She looks at him
and says that she's not sure, and he admits that he isn't either.
No 32 - Back Garden: Matt and Mason are noisily playing basketball - Lauren comes outside to do some sketching, and tells them that if they can't play nicely, they
shouldn't play at all! Imogen then calls by with a new timetable for Hermione - she then leaves, telling Mason to look it over and get back to her. Matt then teases Mason, saying that he spotted a bit of a 'vibe' between the two of them.
Ramsay Street: As Imogen walks home, she spots Isaac up on the balcony outside number 24, she calls over to him but he just runs inside.
No 24: Imogen is banging on the door, telling Isaac that she knows he's in there. When she threatens to call the police, he opens the door and says that he can
explain everything. He tells her that he didn't break in - one of the bedroom windows was unlocked - and he says that he's been squatting there, as he had to move out of the uni halls during the summer. She asks why he didn't just go home to the
country, but he explains that he's been taking extra classes to finish his degree as quickly as possible, but they don't qualify him for accommodation. He tells her that he ended up sleeping rough after being kicked off his mate's sofa, and then he
started looking for empty rental properties. Imogen listens to this, but isn't sure how to deal with the situation.
Charlie's: Paul is schmoozing with the public, when Terese comes in and says that if he insists on suing her, then she'll counter sue him for defamation, harassment and
discrimination. She tells him that she'll drag him through the courts and he'll lose so much business that his new hotel will be lucky to survive. Paul asks what she wants, and she tells him that he's going to give her a severance package for all of her
years of loyal service to the company, enough time at number 22 to find somewhere else to live, and he can also fix the little vase that he broke. He suspects that she's bluffing, but she reminds him that they've worked together long enough for him to know
that she always gets something when she puts her mind to it. She then leaves, telling him to enjoy his party, and he looks around, the fixed grin returning to his face.
No 24: Imogen is surprised to learn that Isaac was working two part-time jobs whilst studying, then he lost both of them at once, which was why his friend kicked him out, as
he couldn't contribute anything. She asks where he got the cheese and crackers they're eating, and he says that he stole it from some party the mayor was having - Imogen is very amused that he stole food from Paul Robinson, but says that she can't let him
continue living here like this. He thinks she's going to make him leave, but she explains that he'll need more food, and some blankets.
Charlie's: Kate is telling Chris about her earlier conversation with Kyle, wondering whether he was trying to tell her that he and Georgia are completely over. Chris is
irritated with the whole thing and says that Kate just needs to tell Kyle how she feels. He makes a recording on his phone, saying that this is a sensitive situation, and she should be careful but be honest. He says that's all the advice he has, and will
ever have, so she'll just have to sort the rest of this mess out for herself.
No 32 - Kitchen: Matt finds Lauren looking at some old photos of the kids - she says that sometimes it feels like yesterday, at other times, it feels like a lifetime ago.
They talk about the night they met, and he asks how often she looks at the photos. She says that she doesn't look at them much, and Matt realises that she's feeling clucky again. He says that last time, it wasn't right to have another baby, but maybe, now that things are
more comfortable, they could think about it again - if that's what she still wants.
Charlie's: Kyle is telling Chris about how confused he is, which Chris doesn't find surprising, given everything that's happened lately. Kyle looks over at Kate, and
says that he told her about the wedding fund, and now he's not sure if he did the right thing. Chris plays him back the recording on his phone, telling him to be careful but be honest, then walks away.
Harold's Store: Imogen has been buying food for Isaac and is just leaving when Mason and Bailey walk in. Mason tells her that the schedule for Hermione is fine with him,
and asks if she'd like to stay for an ice cream with them. She just says that she has other things to do and quickly leaves.
No 24: Isaac is amazed at all the groceries that Imogen has brought, and insists that she stay and eat with him. She agrees to have a little bit, and asks him about his studies,
and whether he'll graduate sooner. He says that he will, and he tells her that he'll pay her back for the food, as soon as he's back on his feet and no longer living like this. She says that she'd accept a little law tuition as payback, but then her phone
rings - it's Mason. She ignores the call and starts to eat with Isaac.
No 22: Brad and Terese are discussing the possibility of suing Paul, and she says that they could potentially lose everything if it doesn't go their way. Brad encourages
her to be positive just for tonight, then there's a knock at the door. It's Paul, who hands over a severance package, along with a non-disclosure form for Terese to sign, and he says that they can stay in the house until they find somewhere else, and he'll
fix the vase. Terese can hardly contain her pleasure, but she signs the form and Paul leaves. Brad then takes a look at the amount she's been given, and she happily says that now she's free to do whatever she wants.
Charlie's: Chris, Kyle and Kate are cleaning up, and Chris is wondering why he and Kyle are there, as they're don't work at the bar, and nor are they supporters of
Paul. He asks if it's because Kate's there - Kyle denies it, but Chris forces him to be honest. He drags Kyle across the room, and tells him and Kate that he loves them, but they need to sort this out, and he asks that they never confide in him again.
As Chris leaves, Kate asks Kyle if she's imagining this things between them. Kyle tells her that she isn't and then they kiss.
