• Sonya discovering that Patricia, from the AA meetings, is actually Chris' mother and that she does not know that Hudson is in prison

Lassiter's Complex: Outside Harold's, Chris hurries to catch up with Sonya, apologising that she had to lie to Patricia. Sonya explains she felt caught in the
middle, but Chris asks her to continue to keep quiet about Hudson because he doesn't want his parents to freak out. Sonya tries to convince Chris that dishonesty usually ends badly and urges him to tell his parents as she doesn't like the idea
of the family being distant. Chris snaps back that it is none of her business and tells Sonya he will handle it.
No 30: Sonya is reading a pamphlet entitled 'Understanding Anonymity'. Georgia arrives home, and Sonya apologises about the earrings. Georgia tells
Sonya not to worry as it is her own fault for bringing them out in the first place. Sonya wonders why Georgia is taking the loss of the earrings so hard; Georgia replies that she still cares about Kyle and they had fun looking after
Nell the previous day. She adds that she would like to be a family with Kyle, but admits she can't trust him. When Sonya asks if Kyle has learnt from his mistakes, Georgia retorts that she has learnt from her mistakes, but is glad that
Kyle has not found out about the earrings.
Charlie's: Kyle is thoughtfully studying the earrings when Chris heads over looking for a chat. Chris reveals that Sonya discovered he hadn't told his
parents about Hudson, much to Kyle's surprise. Kyle insinuates that Chris is a hypocrite for keeping his parents in the dark; Chris admits he is and goes on to explain how the whole situation was lucky as his parents didn't see the story
in the news and he subsequently didn't fill them in. Chris asks Kyle how he would have bought the situation up anyway and what he thinks of Sonya's advice. Kyle replies that Chris has been avoiding his family for a while and that Sonya
could have identified why. Chris says that he doesn't want to ruin things with his dad, now that he is on good terms, leaving Kyle to wonder what Chris is going to do.
Harold's Store: Susan and Karl are sitting at a table with tea and cake. Susan is trying to reassure Karl, telling him he is paranoid; Karl retorts that,
owing Paul a favour, means he has to now keep looking over his shoulder. Susan tries to convince Karl that things aren't as bad as that, but just then, Karl receives a message, summoning him to Paul's apartment. Susan wishes Karl luck,
taking Karl's cake for herself as she leaves.
Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Paul thanks Karl for coming over and, showing him to a seat, tells him that he has been thinking a lot about the
'Twin Cities' programme. Paul explains the programme would be perfect for Erinsborough as it would be exciting. He adds that he wants Karl to choose three cities with which to twin, and that he would like Karl to help him with the pitch.
Karl wonders why he has been selected and Paul explains he wants someone intelligent who is devoted to Erinsborough. Paul adds that he wants nothing but the best for the project, pointing out Karl's race for the mayoral election. Karl
agrees to the proposal and asks what Paul expects him to do; Paul explains what the job will entail, though Karl immediately asks what the catch is. Looking surprised, Paul denies there is a catch and that he wants to look after the
local area as it is part of his job. Standing up, Karl agrees to help and as he leaves, Paul tells him that he looks forward to working with him.
No 30: Georgia is making tea, filling Kyle in on baby appointments. She asks if Kyle still wants to attend with her, although Kyle is scrutinising his
phone, not listening to Georgia. Georgia asks the question again; Kyle wonders if Georgia really needs him there and Georgia snaps back, asking if that means Kyle does not want to go. Reluctantly, Kyle says if Georgia wants him to go he
will, leaving them both to mutter a very unenthusiastic 'great'.
Erinsborough Community Centre: Sonya is waiting outside for Patricia, impatiently checking her watch whilst showing other people in. Running outside to
look, Sonya is spotted by Susan, who notices Sonya looking agitated. Susan asks if everything is ok; Sonya explains that she is waiting for a new member who needed reassurance from earlier in the day. Susan points out that it would be a
shame for the person not to attend, but that it is ultimately their decision and there isn't a lot that Sonya can do.
No 30: Sonya is busy on the laptop, trying to locate Patricia and not listening to Georgia who is explaining what happened with Kyle earlier in the day.
Realising she hasn't been following Georgia's story, Sonya apologises, closes the laptop and asks Georgia to tell her what happened. Sonya asks if Georgia has done anything to annoy Kyle and urges Georgia to find out what is going on.
Sonya tells Georgia to act, a piece of advice she takes herself as she dashes out of the front door.
Charlie's: Sonya spots Chris at the bar and asks him how he is. Chris replies that he is fine, leaving Sonya to ask him if he is off to his parents for his
dinner. Chris is unsure, but Sonya urges him to go, explaining that Patricia talked about him all the way through lunch. Not wanting to chat, Chris replies with a simple 'ok', but as he heads off, Sonya stops him to ask where is parents live.
Chris reveals that they live in Erinsborough, but becomes suspicious when Sonya asks him for Patricia's phone number. Chris wonders why Sonya wants it, as he didn't realise they had formed such a strong bond over lunch, but Sonya says she
would like to do lunch with her again soon. Suddenly, Chris worries that Sonya is going to reveal to Patricia about Hudson, although Sonya immediately denies that she would do such a thing. Chris hurries off, promising to give Patricia Sonya's
number.
Harold's Store: Susan is studying Karl's laptop, admitting that the twin city programme seems to be a good idea. Susan points out that the scheme is very
unlike Paul, leading Karl to admit that he believes there is a hidden agenda. Susan, who is still studying the screen can't think what the motive would be, as there seems no financial incentive. Karl wonders if Paul became mayor to do good
things, leaving both of them to shake their heads in bemusement and disbelief.
Charlie's: Georgia is picking up an order when Sheila marches over, asking her how she could be so callous as to sell the earrings that Kyle gave her.
Georgia asks Sheila if she still has them; Sheila explains she didn't buy them in the first place. Georgia winds how Sheila knew they were sold if she didn't buy them herself and Sheila explains that Kyle bought them and is now heartbroken.
Georgia realises that this explains Kyle's earlier behaviour at home.
Harold's Store: Glumly reading a magazine, Kyle is surprised when Georgia heads over. Georgia explains that she never meant to sell the earrings and admits
that she never would, despite what happened between them. Kyle is reluctant to accept Georgia's explanation but Georgia tries to convince Kyle that she didn't deliberately sell them as she would like to pass them on to their possible
future daughter. Georgia adds that it would be a beautiful keepsake for their daughter to have and admits she is sorry about a lot of things. Kyle tells Georgia that he will bring the earrings to her later and Georgia heads sadly off.
No 30: Sonya and Susan are talking through Sonya's situation involving Patricia with the use of dolls and teddy bears. Susan tries to offer advice, but gets
confused by the scenario and the aliases and is left to admit she won't be much help to Sonya. Sonya realises she needs to find someone close to Bruce (representing Chris) and realises that Kyle is the obvious choice. Susan realises who some
of the toys represent as she hears Sonya say Kyle, before hurriedly changing the name to Croc (a toy crocodile).
Harold's Store: Sonya is filling Kyle in on her lunch with Patricia and asks him if he has her number. Chris, meanwhile, has just come into Harold's
unseen by Sonya; Kyle suggests she ask Chris for the number. Surprised, Sonya jumps up from the chair as Chris demands to know why Sonya is interfering. Kyle makes a hasty exit, believing the discussion to be about Hudson. Sonya tries
to deny the fact, but Chris furiously yells at Sonya to mind her own business and says he will tell his parents about Hudson when he is good and ready.
Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Karl hands over his pitch for the twin cities programme. Karl asks Paul what the programme is really about, but
Paul continues to deny there is any other motive and pushes Karl towards the lift. As Karl leaves, Paul forges his signature on a letter addressed to Rebecca Napier: she is the project liaison for the programme. Paul pulls out a box and
lovingly examines its contents. Inside is a photo of Paul and Rebecca, along with a ring. Paul smiles happily.
