Fitzgerald Motors: Josh is calling out in agony, still stuck between the cars when Mark rushes over to help. He struggles to separate the cars,
although eventually manages to push them apart and asks a relieved but in pain Josh what happened. Josh clutches his shoulder in agony.
Erinsborough Hospital: Chris and Nate are talking to Georgia in the corridor, Chris informing Georgia that he has been told he is improving.
Mark leads Josh into the hospital and over to Georgia: Chris and Nate walk past ignoring Josh as they leave. Josh lies to Georgia that he has hurt himself in a skateboarding accident, telling Mark to keep quiet as he doesn't want
anyone to know that he was at the garage. Mark points out to Josh that he won't be treated properly if the medics don't know what happened and Josh replies that the insurance from the garage won't cover him anyway. Mark tells Josh
to let him worry about that, but Josh is adamant he wants to stick to the skateboarding accident story.
Number 22: Terese and Brad are going through letters at the table. Terese can't believe a pathology report she finds about Josh's enzyme deficiency
due to the expensive costs; Brad says they will pay, but Terese points out they also have Toadie's legal costs and a payment plan won't be sufficient should Chris decide to sue for damages. Brad wonders if Chris would do that and suggests
teaching more yoga classes when Terese says that he might. She isn't keen on the idea of Brad taking on extra work in the holidays, as that's the only time he gets a break. Just then, Brad's phone rings: it is Mark.
Number 32: Paige, Bailey and Alice are playing around in the kitchen whilst baking a cake. Amber is busy working at the table and asks them if they
would mind being quiet. They apologise, but continue to throw sweets to each other to catch in their mouth, many landing on the floor. Amber points out it is her final exams during the week and Paige suggests she go to her room or the
library and they'll bring her some cake. Amber sarcastically replies if it is made out of the stuff dropped on the floor she is not interested. Bailey tells Amber to relax, as she doesn't need top marks to be a photographer. An irritated
Amber heads off, telling Bailey he must think that all photographers are dumb.
Erinsborough Hospital: Brad and Terese are anxiously waiting with Josh for his results: Georgia comes in and says that Josh has not damaged his shoulder
any further. Terese asks how bad it is and Georgia explains that Josh has sustained some soft tissue damage and bruising. She adds that although there will be a lot of pain, it is lucky there are no lacerations on his hands form where he
would have put his hands out in a fall from a skateboard. Josh quickly replies that he fell in some grass but Georgia is unconvinced as Josh previously said he had hit a wall. Josh explains the grass was next to a wall, but Georgia can't
understand how this resulted in such deep bruising. Brad realises Josh doesn't even own a skateboard and Josh says that he bumped into a mate, who leant him his. Josh adds that the main thing is he hasn't damaged anything further but Terese
is not happy, telling Josh that he promised them the 'reckless phase' was over. Josh apologises and says it won't happen again: they all head out.
Number 32: Lauren brings the washing into the kitchen, wondering what happened when she sees the mess from the cake making everywhere. Bailey explains
it was Paige's idea and Lauren laughs, Alice offering to clear up and heading off in search of a broom. Lauren taste some cake and is impressed, telling Paige it tastes like her grandmother's Jaffa cake. Bailey shows Lauren Kathy's recipe
book and Lauren realises that is why the cake is so impressive. She points out that the candied peel is missing: Bailey wonders if it matters and by Lauren's look both he and Paige realise that it does. Lauren hugs them both and comments
that she loves passing the recipes on to them, just as Amber walks in and sees the close connection being shared. She is noticed by Lauren, who tells her Paige is making one of her grandmother's cakes. Amber says she knows, and sullenly
goes to head off to the library. Lauren chases after her, saying that she will give her a lift.
The Waterhole: Lauren is asking Matt what they can do about Bailey, explaining that he is handling things well, despite being disappointed about not
getting into space camp. Matt doesn't think they should make a fuss, but Lauren worries that a knock back could set Bailey drinking again. Matt doesn't think they need to worry leading Lauren to inform Matt that Amber is getting very stressed
about her exams. Matt says it is good, because it proves Amber is at least taking them seriously. He offers Lauren his spoon of ice cream and Lauren takes it, spotted by Terese and Brad who have just come in and are on their way to the bar.
Brad orders a burger and wonders if Terese wants anything: she doesn't, as she is too busy watching Matt and Lauren, who are very happy at their table. Brad puts his arm around Terese: she says he doesn't need to do it. Brad replies that he
always puts his arm around her but Terese points out that he hasn't lately and heads off to get Josh a healthy juice to make up for the burger.
Number 26: Nate and Chris are practising catching a ball when Mark arrives, bringing a leave form that Danni wants Chris to sign. Chris says he will do it
later, and wonders what happened to Josh at the hospital. Mark replies that he hurt his shoulder badly and Nate wonders why Mark was with him. Mark has to explain that Josh had an accident at the garage: Chris wonders what he was doing there.
Mark lies that Josh was skateboarding past when he fell and Nate comments it must be karma. Mark retorts that Josh was in pain and Chris asks Mark if he is expected to feel sorry for Josh. Mark says he doesn't, but says he doesn't expect the pair
of them to gloat about it. Irritated, he tells Chris what really happened and asks Chris if it makes him feel any better about it.
Ramsay Street: Mark spots Alice, Bailey and Paige coming out of Number 32 and asks how things are. Alice explains they are on their way to the shops to get more ingredients
for the cake making. Mark heads off and Alice and Bailey immediately point out to Paige how interested Mark is in her. She walks off when she realises that Alice and Bailey have been talking about her, but they follow, Bailey explaining that they had to study
non verbal communication in their psychology lessons. They explain how they have studied various psychological elements of cosmonauts and Alice says how Mark was showing key signs of attraction towards Paige. Paige is unconvinced. Bailey suggests they go and
tell Amber she can now study at home in peace; Paige tells him not to as that will stop Amber being such a grump all the time and Alice agrees.
Lassiter's Complex: Lauren is cleaning tables when she sees Amber heading over with a pile of books. She explains that she couldn't study at the library as
there were no cubicles left. Lauren offers to bring Amber out a coffee to one of the tables; Amber retorts she would rather study at home but that it doesn't suit Paige. She adds that she is sick of Paige dictating when and where she can study
and wonders why she, Bailey and Alice are following each other around all over the place. Lauren looks at Amber, who explains that she just needed to get the whinge out of her system. Lauren comments that she thought Paige and Amber had sorted
everything out. Amber admits they had, leading Lauren to ask Amber if she is threatened by Paige. Noticing Amber's expression, Lauren admits things will be hard for a while, as Amber had been living away from the house with Daniel and points out
the fact that Paige has not replaced her, adding that Amber must know how much she and Matt love her. Amber is worried that she is not getting all of the in-jokes that seem to be happening and Lauren tries to reassure her that it won't always be
that way and that Paige has had to make a lot of adjustments too. Amber says she understands but finds it hard now that she is not Lauren's only little girl. Lauren explains Amber will always be her little girl and that nothing will change that.
She suggests Amber wait and talk it through with Paige as she is on her way, but Amber says that she is going home. As Lauren heads off, Amber's phone rings: it is Chris.
Number 26: Chris is informing Nate that Amber knew Josh was working at the garage and wonders why Mark would allow that to happen. Nate replies that
volunteering isn't a crime and asks how Mark could have stopped it. Chris retorts that he didn't want it or need it. Nate doesn't think that is why Josh did it and Chris frustratedly asks if he is supposed to be grateful after Josh put him
in his current state. Chris asks Nate if Josh is doing it so that he will forgive him; Nate suggests it has nothing to do with Chris and Chris is left to wonder why Nate is suddenly defending Josh. Nate replies that he isn't but thinks that
Josh is feeling guilty and is trying to do something about it. Chris asks if getting into difficulty at the garage and trying to make him feel bad is really going to help Josh: Nate explains he doesn't agree with what Josh did but understands
why he is doing it and gets what it is like to regret something that he has done. Chris says Nate is a good person and Nate replies that good people do bad things - and not everyone gets a chance to make up for them. Chris retorts he doesn't
want anything from Josh and owes him nothing. Nate explains he thinks Josh is just trying to look for a way to live with what he has done.
Sonya's Nursery: Matt is whistling happily to himself and searching through some flowers when Terese heads over, asking if they are for Lauren. Matt
says they are, but can't decide which ones. Terese asks Matt what he is doing, wondering what the point is in buying the flowers. Matt asks Terese why she would say that and Terese replies that if he had read the journal he would know
the answer to that. Terese adds that she is not proud of snooping but is glad she now knows the truth. Matt replies that she doesn't, however, as the journal said Lauren realised she knew that she and Brad were not right together. Matt
tells Terese to be happy as it puts an end to all the doubts and insecurities - for both of them. He leaves Terese, after selecting the flowers he is planning to give to Lauren.
Harold's Store: Paige gives Josh a coffee on her, and asks how his shoulder is. Josh replies it is sore and asks Paige how her burnt thumb is. She replies
it is a lot better than Josh's injury! Paige walks across to Bailey and Alice and asks why they are not baking; Alice explains she has to go, and Paige is obviously working, leaving Bailey as the one responsible for both the cake and smoothing
things over with Amber. Paige says she won't, after Amber spoke to her in the way that she did. Alice urges Bailey to sort out the situation with Amber, using another space analogy: she notices Bailey's expression and apologises for talking too
much about space camp. She heads off, stating that both Paige and Amber need her. Bailey goes over to Paige and explains that sometimes Amber can shoot her mouth off. Paige replies she is not used to having a sister as when she had a problem
with Ethan she would just thump him. Bailey urges Paige to sort things out with Amber in the way she would with any other woman - Paige admits she thumped most of them too, hence the reason she was expelled from boarding school. Bailey tells
Paige to find something in common with Amber and says that she can't give up on Amber as they are sisters. Meanwhile, Nate arrives and walks over to Josh. He admits that he and Chris knows what really happened to Josh's shoulder. Josh
replies that Nate and Chris were not supposed to find out, admitting that he stuffed up but was just trying to help. Nate replies that Josh isn't helping. sitting down, he tells Josh he is trying to undo the punch and make himself feel
better but is making Chris feel uncomfortable. Josh explains that it is not what he is trying to do: Nate tells him to stop and live with it on his own, asking Josh to keep his distance. Josh agrees.
Number 22: Brad is at the table going through the papers from earlier when Terese arrives home. Brad tells Terese that he has called some tutoring firms
who are happy for him to work whenever he wants over the holidays. He goes on to say it is lucky that Terese talked him into doing the teaching degree. Terese asks Brad what he means, believing it to be a dig. Brad says it wasn't and
genuinely means it. He walks off leaving Terese to call Susan. Terese tells Susan she really needs to talk to her.
Number 32: Amber is followed into the kitchen by Josh: she admits that Chris' call caught her off guard. Josh says it doesn't matter, but Amber is
pleased Mark told Chris, pointing out to Josh that he was just trying to help. Josh admits to Amber Nate may have been right and that he was helping Chris for the wrong reasons and knows that it needs to stop. He tells Amber to do what
she needs to with any money left over in the fund, adding that he needs to figure out what to do now as he cant use Chris to make himself feel better. Amber asks Josh if he has any tips on how to make things up with Paige. Josh advises
Amber to sort it out as they are sisters, and to be glad that she can.
Number 32:A little later, Paige is boxing in the back garden when Amber goes over to her. Amber asks Paige if she wants her to hold the boxing pads and Paige
replies she was then about to ask Amber to do so. They talk about Bailey for a bit and Amber asks Paige what she wants her to do. Paige shows Amber the boxing moves and begins hitting the pads. Amber struggles to keep up, though tells Paige
to keep going. One of the punches, however, misses the pads and Amber is hit around the face, leaving a mortified Paige to apologise profusely.
