At number 24, Madge and Tom are speechless. Madge asks why Charlene never told her.
Charlene explains she turned to her father’s mistress Susan Cole for help and went and arranged the abortion. Even Fred doesn’t know what happened.

At number 22, Clive arrives back with the French take-away food including snails, frogs legs, cheese, brandy figs & croissants for breakfast. Des, Daphne, Mike and Nikki are not keen on eating the snails but Clive tells them it is the “food of love’’.

In Paul’s hotel room, Scott tells Paul he realises how stupid he’s acted with Charlene. Paul agrees it’s time he took on some responsibility. Scott wonders how he can make it up to Charlene but Paul assures him if Charlene was mature enough to agree to sleep with him, she’ll take his apology. Paul asks Scott to let him handle their father.

Back at the Ramsay house, Madge cannot contact Fred on the phone and takes out her anger on Tom. He tells her there is no point in shouting at him – Madge angrily snipes to him “At least my kids talk to me!” But apologises immediately. Tom asks her to try and tell Charlene she loves her.

Later at number 26, Madge tells Helen about Charlene’s abortion and how she fears Charlene will leave to go back to Coffs Harbour. Helen urges Madge to talk to Charlene before it is too late.
Charlene comes out of her room with a suitcase ready to leave for the bus. Madge asks Charlene to stay so they can try again. Charlene agrees only if she can have breathing space. Madge asks her to move back into No.24.

At the Ramsay house, Danny arrives home to be told the news by Tom that Max has rung from Brisbane. Tom explains Max will be in Brisbane for at least another two months due to work but he & Maria are going well. Danny wants to go to visit his parents but Tom urges him to keep away to let his parents resolve their issues.

At number 22, Clive pretends to adore the French food but ends up eating all alone once the frogs legs arrive on the table.

At number 26, Nikki is upset to learn Charlene is moving back to No.24. The two friends hug.

In her hotel room, Debra tells her father Lewis Fleming that she is manipulating Paul now he has fallen for her. Lewis explains to Debra it is vital she continue with their ploy to fool Paul.

Back at the Robinson house, Paul & Scott arrive home. Nikki immediately strikes out at Scott for causing Charlene to move out of the house. Jim steps in and asks to be alone with his son. Jim clearly tells Scott to stay living in the house he has to show remorse for what he’s done & never see Charlene again. Jim sends Scott to his room.

Next morning at the Ramsay house, Madge calls out to Shane to get up for breakfast. Madge asks Charlene to come home straight from school to avoid seeing Scott. Charlene assures her she has no desire to ever see him again.

At the breakfast table, Nikki is telling Helen about Clive’s French cuisine when Scott arrives for his breakfast. Nikki ignores her cousin and Helen tells her this one help. Jim asks Scott to ensure he apologises to Charlene as soon as possible.

At number 22, Nikki arrives to meet Mike and Daphne amused shows her Clive at the dinner table looking ill from all the French food.

Out in Ramsay Street, Mike and Nikki talk to Tom as Charlene comes down the drive of No.24.
Scott seeing her, rushes up to her and says “I’ve got something to say to you.”
Charlene tells him “I’ve got something to say too!” and punches Scott on the jaw, knocking him to the pavement.
