It was a week which saw many Ramsay Street residents struggling to adapt to change…

As the question of the Bree’s paternity, and that of the rest of their children hung over their heads, Janelle & Kim tried to be the perfect parents, leaving Dylan, Stingray, Janae & Bree suspicious of their odd behaviour. After a quiet word from Stingray about Janelle, Kim told her that he didn’t need the test results to prove her fidelity and decided to throw them away, until they realised that Bree needed them for her project. As they opened them, and Janelle read out the list of positive matches, she was shocked to read that Bree was not a match for the father… or the mother. In a bid to find out the truth about Bree’s parentage, Janelle & Kim confronted the midwife who was at her birth and were shocked when she informed them that there was a staff-shortage that day, and she was called to an emergency so didn’t finish the ID bracelets, and when she returned she couldn’t remember which baby was which. In a bid to hide the truth from Bree, Kim edited the test results to make it look as if she was their child.

Lyn continued to try and take over at number 32 and slyly asked Father Capitola to try and convince Max & Steph to have Charlie baptised, much to their annoyance. Meanwhile, Susan worried about Lyn’s interfering with Charlie’s upbringing after she ‘offered’ to take him for the night, but as Steph began to feel sidelined, she and Max decided to pick him up from Lyn’s early, and in a touching moment, Steph began to bond with Charlie and understand her mother’s behaviour. However, Lyn was left heartbroken when Steph told her that she wasn’t needed to help out with Charlie, but the pair soon made up when Steph let her look after him for a while.

“Cameron” continued to try to impress the residents of Ramsay Street, but Harold still sensed something evil about him, and told him he preferred to look after his garden himself. After Elle pointed out that Cameron would have normally got a girlfriend by now, Robert decided to ask Katya out on a date, but just as things seemed to be going well, their date was interrupted. Paul asked Stingray to try out a new alcopop, telling him to take it home but it seemed trouble was brewing as he dropped it whilst visiting Rachel, and indeed it was as Susan caught Rachel having a party and the pair were shocked to discover Zeke passed out on the couch, drunk on the alcopop that Stingray had left. When Katya arrived at the hospital, Susan took her aside and warned her that if she made another mistake, she would fight for custody of Rachel & Zeke.

After overhearing Dylan badmouthing her to Paul, Izzy and Elle at a dinner party they were invited to at number 22, Sky was pushed further into the arms of J.P., especially after Dylan pushed her aside for failing to see that he was not the only one to blame for them drifting apart, and Sky soon found herself kissing him. Ned continued to play games with Paul, and Connor berated Ned for his nastiness and began to feel lonely. Paul hired Connor to follow Ned, at his own price, but Connor soon began to get fed up with Ned’s tough guy act, especially after it lost them dates and nearly started a fight in Scarlet Bar, and found himself missing Toadie when Ned rebuked the House of Trouser traditions. Paul was impressed by Dylan’s work at restoring the General Store’s reputation, leaving Robert feeling even more vengeful, especially after Paul overlooked money disappearing from the till. By the end of the week though, Robert had him questioning Dylan’s loyalty after it seemed that Dylan had failed to lock up and the takings for that day were stolen after Elle decided not to bank them.

After she issued him with an ultimatum, Boyd broke up with Janae, but not without a final warning about Sacha, and as he told his new friend what had happened, he soon regretted not listening to Steph & Janae’s warnings. Also this week, Izzy remembered she was part owner of The Scarlet Bar, and told Stingray off for being late for work, as she struggled to accept that he was now a university student, leaving him questioning his ‘friendship’ with Rachel after Dylan pointed out that may be part of it.

Finally this week, Izzy continued to struggle to say, “I love you” to Paul, and kept teasing him about it, J.P. confused Harold & Lou to be a gay couple, much to Harold and Sky’s amusement and Lou was shocked to receive an e-mail from Mishka telling him that she was on her way to meet him.
