In a week filled with a fake wedding, a shooting and a paternity scandal, the residents of Ramsay Street still found time to dance…

Robert made plans to get rid of Paul. Katya played games with Robert, pretending she was on his side, but as she tried to find out where Connor was, Robert got annoyed. As Robert & Katya made their way back to Erinsborough, Katya tied her cardigan to the curtain rail, in the hope that someone would recognise it. Stopping at a small service station, Katya tried to get the assistant to help her and signed the receipt as “Help”, but he was more interested in a blown head gasket. Upon returning to the campervan, Robert asked to see the receipt so he could pay Katya back, but she pretended that she couldn’t find it, so Robert grabbed her purse and finding the receipt, saw her message. After tying Katya up and drugging her, Robert got back into the driver’s seat and headed to Lassiter’s.

Meanwhile, Paul indulged in the attention he was receiving as Gail, Izzy and Lyn all vied for his. As the wedding approached, Izzy’s claws were out and sharpened and she continued to make it clear to both Lyn and Gail that Paul was not available. With Izzy determined to keep her eye on Paul, she was forced to dress up as a gardener, and she was horrified when Paul abandoned the vows she had read and spoke from the heart. With the ceremony going without a hitch, in more ways than one, Paul took it upon himself to draw Robert out of hiding, calling out to him. The onlookers were shocked to hear a shot being fired, and see Paul fall to the floor. Having achieved what he had intended to do, Robert dropped the gun and let himself be arrested, but he was horrified to see that Paul was still alive, and had just been winded due to him wearing a bulletproof vest, and to see Gail turn away from him and head towards Paul.

With the police focussing on catching Robert, Toadie & Susan took it upon themselves to find Katya, and Toadie’s suspicions were immediately drawn to a camper van parked in Lassiter’s car park, but Susan convinced him that he was clutching at straws. Driving around, Toadie realised he recognised something he saw in the window of the campervan, Katya’s cardigan and turned back. Breaking into the campervan, they discovered Katya drugged and tied up by the table and as Toadie untied the binds, Susan called an ambulance. At the hospital, Katya came around and was relieved to hear that Robert had been caught, but refused to let Toadie touch her, despite him being the one who rescued her, leaving Toadie feeling hurt. Meanwhile, Paul continued to take advantage of Lyn’s good nature and furious at her father’s games, Elle told him to decide which woman he wanted, but the look on his face made her assume he wanted Gail, but she soon realised that Paul intended to continue playing games with all three.

As Boyd continued to play games with his father, Janae admitted the truth to Max, who was impressed by her maturity. After Max accidentally let slip Janae’s real age to the rental agent, Boyd refused to believe that he didn’t mean to do it. With the Lassiter’s complex on lockdown, Boyd & Max were forced to discuss their issues, with a little help from Janae & Steph, who snuck in through an unguarded delivery bay. After discovering that Max offered to go guarantor on their rental agreement and had changed his mind about Janae, Boyd made up with his father. Sitting down to a banquet of peace, Max made a toast to Janae Hoyland, welcoming her to the family.

Rachel told Katya about Karl & Susan getting back together, and was shocked to hear that her sister was happy for them despite the concerns she had when she first moved to Erinsborough and told Rachel to stop thinking about herself, and that their dad would’ve wanted Susan to be happy. As Zeke returned from football camp, Rachel took it upon herself to fill him in on what had been going on while he was away. Furious with Susan for keeping secrets, and betraying his father, Zeke told her that he hated her and asked Rachel if he could move into number 26, but she told him there wasn’t room. Wanting to stay together, they announced to Karl & Susan that they planned to go and live with some relatives of their mother in Sydney. As Rachel’s birthday came around, she was touched when Susan gave her a gift from her and Alex, which they picked out before he died. Susan explained that it was a charm bracelet, with a charm for each year of her life, each symbolising something and Alex wanted her to buy a new charm each year until she turned 21, and to know that he will always be with her. As Susan helped Rachel put the bracelet on, they were both overcome with emotion and the pair hugged, united by how much they missed Alex, and their love for him. With Rachel & Zeke hurt by her relationship with Karl, Susan felt left with no choice but to end her relationship with Karl, but told him to wait for her, Karl understood and told her he’d do whatever it takes, as the kids were the most important thing right now. Explaining her decision to Rachel & Zeke and that if she and Karl hadn’t been married for such a long time she wouldn’t have looked at another man so soon. Realising how much Susan was willing to give up for them, Rachel & Zeke agreed to stay.

At Carmella’s request, Ned volunteered Oodles ‘O’ Noodles to do a gig for the hospital Children’s Ward, with the first gig being a huge success Ned offered to do it on a regular basis, but due to Karl’s busy schedule, he would have to go solo for the hospital work. Meanwhile, Lou set about trying to get a photo of Toadie to win the $1000 prize that Channel 44 were offering for the capture of “The Dancing Toad” , and enlisted Harold’s help so he could raise the money to visit Mishka in Russia. However, Harold soon found himself in trouble when the police caught him hiding in the bushes at Lassiter’s with his camera. As a dancing girl took a photo of the two of them dancing together and Max then took a photo of Lou dancing with him, Toadie became suspicious, and asked Ned & Carmella what was going on. After discovering the cause of the madness, Toadie joined up with Lou to make sure he won for a share of the prize money. Whilst they struggled to come up with ideas for the perfect photo, Sister Mary Catherine (Carmella) came up with the perfect thing, “The Dancing Toad” with a Salvation Army Tuba Player, much to Harold’s chagrin. As they reviewed the photos, they came across one of Carmella & Ned having fun and as the pair discussed the photo and how happy Carmella looked, Toadie soon began feeling like a third wheel and he wasn’t the only one who noticed.

Sky’s morning sickness continued to get the better of her this week as she struggled to cope with lack of food and the Timmins family. As Harold reached breaking point with Janelle & Stingray’s interference, Dylan demanded they leave and pledged his own support to Sky, asking for more involvement, but Sky wondered why he had suddenly changed his mind. Later, as Dylan continued to ask Sky if there was anything he could do to help her, she collapsed, leaving him and Harold extremely worried. After taking Sky came to, Harold & Dylan took her to the hospital, where Karl told them she had collapsed due to dehydration because of her extreme morning sickness. After speaking to Dr. Olenski, Karl revealed that Sky was most likely suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG), a severe form of morning sickness, but luckily, they’d caught it before it became too serious. As Sky pushed Dylan away, he became annoyed by Stingray’s involvement and attacked him in the office at Scarlet Bar, warning him to stay away from his girlfriend, but Stingray soon reminded him of the fact that his girlfriend wasn’t Sky. After giving Sky an ultrasound, Karl began to worry about the baby’s size and told Sky that judging by that the baby was no more that 8-9 weeks old, which meant that Stingray was the father.

Finally this week, Bree intercepted a letter from Kim containing money for the family and told Zeke that something always goes wrong and they struggle to find the money and that she was just keeping it in case of an emergency. After Bree gave Sky $500 worth of baby vouchers, and told Janelle that she used her latest royalty check from the book to pay for it, Stingray became suspicious and Bree was forced to admit the truth. After Bree explained her reasons for keeping Kim’s money secret, Stingray agreed that Janelle shouldn’t be told, but told Bree to include him in any decisions, but Bree said she’d already got some ideas for the next lot. Later on, a scheming Bree returned to the hospital and gave Harold a present for Sky and told him it was from Dylan.
