Neighbours burst into 2007 with a shocking revelation for Dylan and Stingray in an action packed four-episode week. Here’s what happened…

Harold pushed Lou to confront what happened to him in Russia and made an appointment with Karl for Lou to undergo hypnosis. Lou admitted that he was terrified of what he’d uncover and he had every right to be as whilst undergoing the therapy, Lou remembered meeting Igor, Mishka’s husband, and Mishka pushing him down the stairs. Finally able to move on from his former love, Lou planned his future with Janelle.

Zeke used Katya’s ‘mythical babe’ friends to make himself more popular and was overjoyed when Susan continued his lies, but she soon made him promise to end it. Meanwhile, as the day of the big match arrived, Susan was thrilled when Zeke relented and let her come along to the game, however, as she failed to show, Zeke worried about stuffing up at the game but was thrilled to see that Bree was there to support him and it enforced him to score the winning kick.

A day at the races brought Janelle & Loris together, and the mother-in-law was thrilled when Janelle asked her to move into number 26.

Carmella told a devastated Teresa that her baby had died due to a heart defect and Teresa cried at her to leave, but after overhearing Karl & Dylan talking, wondered if she could help Sky out with her baby. Meanwhile, forced to move out of number 30 and feeling unable to return to the convent, Carmella accepted an offer from Harold to move into number 24.

As Stingray’s drinking continued, Dylan suggested that they spend a few days in the bush to help him ‘detox’, but Rachel convinced him that is was her place to do it. After ending up in hospital again and realising that the secrecy was the cause of her constant illness Sky revealed to Dylan that he wasn’t the baby’s father, leaving him devastated. Feeling betrayed but still besotted with Sky, Dylan gave her an ultimatum, give the baby up for adoption or lose him. After hearing what her grandson had done, Loris berated Dylan for his actions and convinced him that Sky didn’t set out to hurt him and that in the end she sacrificed her own happiness to tell him the truth. Loris pointed out that if he really cared for Sky he’d care for her baby as well. Realising that his grandmother was right, Dylan affirmed his love for Sky and offered to bring up the baby as his own as long as there were no more lies. Feeling forced to admit the truth, Sky revealed that the baby’s father wasn’t a stranger; it was his brother, Stingray, leaving Dylan reeling.

As news of the true paternity spread around Ramsay Street many of the residents were left devastated by Sky & Scott’s betrayal and as Bree told Sky that they were no longer ‘Soul Sisters’, Rachel struggled to come to terms with the fact that Stingray was about to become a father. However, with Dylan & Stingray missing, the residents were soon united with worry. Stingray was shocked to realise that Dylan knew about his night with Sky and that he was the baby’s father and upon returning home found himself evicted from number 26 and the Timmins family and sought comfort at the bottom of the bottle. Not wanting to see her grandson on the streets and completely understanding over the whole situation, Loris let Scott stay at Lassiter’s.

Meanwhile, Sky was relieved that Stingray didn’t hate her and announced that he’d be there for the baby and was touched when Harold offered his support and admitted how proud he was of her for finally admitting the truth.

After overhearing Karl tell Susan some home truths about Stingray, Rachel realised that he was right and broke up with the father-to-be. As Dylan turned to Paul in his hour of need, Janelle turned to Lou and the couple found themselves becoming closer. Meanwhile, Sky found herself sharing a room with Teresa Cammeniti, but failed to realise her link to Carmella. As Teresa started talking about her perfect life and baby and she tried to convince Sky that in her situation there were other options she could take, such as adoption. Meanwhile, just as she was growing closer to Sky, Teresa was devastated to learn that she’d be going home and faked a fall in order to extend her stay in hospital.

Also this week, Paul thanked Karl for recommending Dr. Little to help solve his problems with Harvey chewing his leg, leaving Susan bemused as to why Karl would recommend someone he once described as a quack, but soon realised that he’d been offered a discount in return for him spreading the word. Meanwhile, Loris set out to make her mark on Lassiter’s as Paul’s equal.
