The rosy lifestyle at number 30 came to an abrupt halt as a spanner was put in the works, in more ways than one...

As Christine demanded Janae dress like a mechanic to help keep the respect that female mechanics have fought to gain, she was shocked to be accused of being a lesbian after Janae saw her in Scarlet Bar with daughter, Pepper and assumed that Chris had been trying to stop her exercising her femininity. Meanwhile, Chris revealed that Allan’s record check on Frazer had discovered that Frazer Yeats didn’t exist. After being confronted by Pepper, Frazer revealed that he just wanted to break away as he wasn’t happy with who he was so created a whole new person. Later, as Pepper & Rosetta found Frazer out cold on the veranda at number 30 along with a spanner lying nearby, Will & Rosetta were convinced that he was involved in some sort of criminal activity and demanded he leave. However, as Chris arrived and recognised the mysterious spanner as hers she soon got to the bottom of things after discovering that Janae had borrowed it to practice her skills on some old parts that Steph had and broke a nail whilst using it. In her frustration she threw it over the fence towards number 30 but was ashamed to go around and get it back, not realising that it had hit Frazer and she planned to go around and get it late that night. Returning from hospital later that night, Fraser was annoyed by how quick Will & Rosie had turned on him, especially with Rosetta being a Cammeniti. Upset, Rosetta made it clear to Fraser that she and Carmella knew nothing of Rocco’s dealings and that she became a lawyer under her own steam, not by using her father’s ill-gotten gains.

As Stingray struggled to cope with his alcoholism, he worried about what kind of role model he’d be to Sky’s baby. After Loris discovered that Stingray had poured the contents of a mini-bar down the toilet, she took it upon herself to see that he got the help he needed, but as she dropped him off at his first Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, Scott waiting for his grandmother to leave before walking off in the other direction. Meanwhile, as Stingray pulled out of Sky’s antenatal classes, Teresa offered to go in his place, but as the expectant mother wished that things could be different, she was shocked when Teresa to take the baby if she wanted her to. New orderly, Carmella started work as at the hospital and was shocked to learn who her cousin, Teresa was sharing a room with and as she heard Sky talking about Teresa’s husband and baby soon set the record straight, leaving Sky shocked.

Ned found himself struggling to decide between Katya & Carmella after learning about the former nun’s note to him. With Karl & Susan going out of their way to convince Ned to choose Katya, Harold & Loris set out to help Carmella, but Ned refused to split up with Katya just because Carmella had changed her mind about him. Dejected, Carmella made plans head back to the convent, but after talking to Rosetta, decided that she wanted a full life with romance and set out to ask Will out. Despite a difficult start, in which Carmella spilt a drink over Will, a pep talk from Pepper empowered Carmella to get her man. Despite an almost flawless date to the theatre, where they watched a show from the wings, followed by a starlight picnic by Lassiter’s Lake, Carmella was still unsure about where her life stood and asked Will to be patient whilst she made her decision regarding the convent.

Feeling that life for him in Erinsborough had nothing left to hold, Dylan applied for a job as a chef in Western Australia, however, the offer of a 9% share of Lassiter’s by Loris convinced him to stay and make a go of things. Meanwhile, Loris took great delight in announcing to Elle that the Timmins family and Robinson family were now equal shareholders of Lassiter’s and set out to block the building of the new wing of Lassiter’s that Cameron had designed before his death to display her power. However, as Elle pleaded with Dylan not to use his share in Lassiter’s to get back at her, the pair kissed and ended up sleeping together.

Whilst on a double date at Scarlet Bar, Lou & Janelle and Harold & Loris were stunned by the return of Mishka, and it soon became clear that Janelle was more than prepared to fight for her man. Still furious with Mishka for pushing him down the stairs in Russia, Lou slowly found himself relenting after learning that she did so to save him from her now imprisoned husband, Igor.

With Bree playing hard to get, Zeke decided to play her at her own game and kissed fellow student, Madison, however his attentions soon turned to new PE teacher, Miss Steiger. Meanwhile, Rosetta offered Zeke a job cleaning number 30, and after a note went around saying that Zeke was all talk and no action regarding Madison, the hormonal teen used his new position to steal a pair of Pepper’s knickers to prove that he wasn’t. As Susan found some of the kids throwing the stolen underwear around the classroom, he soon found himself explaining things to Pepper, who disappointed by Zeke, decided to make him clean number 30 for free once a week until the end of the term as punishment.

Finally this week, Will was given the keys to a house in Eden Hills, however initially adamant that he didn’t want he headed over to the address and collected various items. Meanwhile, whilst left holding the baby, Toadie struggled to cope and called on Karl & Susan for help, but after giving Stingray some sound advice soon realised that he’d make a better parent than he thought.
