After leaving school, Felicity Scully was desperate for work and attended an interview with the Populare Grappa company. Interviewer Joy Baxter was incredibly enthusiastic about the alcoholic beverage that the company produced and Flick pretended to love it and was awarded a job. Unfortunately, it wasn’t in the publicity department, as she’s hoped, but rather as a ‘Grappa Girl’ handing out drinks at Fusion nightclub. Though Flick hated the work, she refused to quit, realising that she probably wouldn’t find another job very easily, but during another meeting with Joy, she tried to complain, only for Joy to tell her that she was impressed with her enthusiasm, and there might be a P.A. job for her in the future. However, after being groped once too often at the club, Flick finally snapped and resigned.
