When Lolly Allen was being abused by her stepmother, Sandy, she tried to tell her teacher, Pepper Steiger, but in a moment of panic, ended up accusing Pepper of causing her bruises when senior teacher Susan Kinski walked in. Unable to cope with what was happening, Lolly ran away, but Pepper found her and Lolly was about to admit to Lou Carpenter, her guardian in Erinsborough, that she had lied, when Sandy suddenly arrived. Sandy quickly made sure that Lolly maintained her accusations against Pepper and, at a hearing led by Daniel Bluth the next day, Pepper put up a good fight but was ultimately dismissed from her teaching position.

• Greg Pandelidis previously appeared as Charlie Morgan in 2000, and as Martin West in 2001. He returned in 2013 as Gary Knox
