When a man arrived in Erinsborough, claiming to be Sonya Rebecchi's long-lost Uncle Walter, it soon became clear that he wasn't quite the trustworthy old man he seemed to be, as he stole a watch from Sonya's neighbour Susan Kennedy and befriended Sheila Canning then took her bank card. When 'Walter' was in the bar one evening, he ran into an old friend, and it seemed that he was even lying about his identity, as the man, Gary Knox, called him Dave and invited him to come for a drink and a catch-up.
