Older brother to Susan Cole, Kevin was a family man, married and with three children, who still looked out for his sister even in adulthood. After leaving boarding school, Susan spent her time helping out on the family farm, but Kevin thought she was capable of more. He encouraged her to take a business course which helped her get a job in Fred and Madge Mitchell’s hardware store in Coff’s Harbour.
