Processor Bert Despina was the deliverer of bad news for Dr Karl Kennedy, when he served him with a summons one morning as he went to work. Karl was shocked to find out that he was being sued by Maurie and Glenda Ryan, after giving Glenda the all clear, before she later collapsed and was found to have a malignant tumour in her arm.
Notes: Ralph Marsden previously played Brad Chambers in 1999 and returned as John Dye in 2001.
