When Toadie Rebecchi and Lance Wilkinson opened up their home as a backpackers’ hostel, in order to pay the rent, it quickly turned to chaos and they considered giving up on the whole thing. However, when two attractive English tourists turned up in the pub one afternoon, they decided to go back into business. Angie Gleeson, along with her friend, Claire Brighton, was forced to explain that her wallet, containing all of her money, had been stolen, but a smitten Toadie agreed to them staying one night for free. However, things got out of hand that evening when the girls’ boyfriends, Rhys and Dimi, turned up, also hoping for free rooms. At that same moment, landlord Lou Carpenter arrived and, despite the boys’ best efforts, he rumbled their scam within a matter of minutes, sending all four backpackers off into the night and officially closing the hostel down.
