When Mary Casey was sent to prison for holding Pepper Steiger hostage, obsessed with the young woman who had come so close to providing her with a grandchild eight years earlier, she soon latched on to her young cellmate, Sky Mangel, after seeing a photo of her young baby, Kerry. When Mary found out that Sky was being victimised by the prison’s ‘top dog’ Krystal McCoy, she asked another prisoner, Emma Gould, to send Krystal over to her cell for a little chat. Emma agreed to the request, but warned Mary that Krystal wasn’t someone who took kindly to ‘little chats’.
