Alana Greyson 2022
Parents: Pierce Greyson, Lisa Rowsthorn
Siblings: Hendrix, Maeve
The daughter of Pierce Greyson and younger sister of Hendrix, Alana lived with her mother, Lisa, in Sydney. Hendrix had left his mother and sister to
live with his father in Melbourne and when Lisa visited in 2020, she broke the news to Hendrix that, although she and Pierce had split up when Hendrix
was only a baby, she had gone to him a few years later and paid him to help her have another child, Alana. Hendrix was horrified to learn that, not only
had Lisa made a conscious decision to stop Hendrix from having a father in his life, but she'd also paid Pierce for their second child. When Lisa then
phoned Alana and told her the full story, she took it better than Hendrix, having grown used to her mother's unusual behaviour and determination to get
what she wanted by any means necessary. Lisa then broke the news that she wanted to use her frozen embryos to have another baby with Pierce, but ultimately
learnt that she was already pregnant to her ex, James, and she returned to Sydney, where baby Maeve was born later that year.
A couple of years later, Hendrix and his girlfriend,
Mackenzie, visited Lisa, Alana and Maeve in Sydney, as well as Pierce, who had since moved there. He
broke the news that he had been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and would need a lung transplant to live. An upset Alana initially blamed Mackenzie, as
Hendrix had received the diagnosis after inhaling smoke whilst saving her from a fire at the local school, but Hendrix made her see that blame and anger
weren't going to fix anything. Alana was still upset the following day when she learnt that Hendrix had proposed to Mackenzie, but they managed to patch
things up before they left for Melbourne, and Pierce, Lisa and Alana flew to Erinsborough soon after for the wedding. There, Alana was disappointed to
learn that
Levi Canning, who lived with Hendrix and the Kennedys at 28 Ramsay Street, was a real cop and not a male stripper. A few days
after the wedding,
Hendrix underwent a lung transplant, but his body rejected the new organs and he tragically died. As a memorial took place in Erinsborough, Mackenzie flew
to Sydney, joining Hendrix's family for his funeral. A devastated Mackenzie went to his old school, a place he'd shown her during their trip to Sydney only
weeks earlier, and Alana found her there, helping to finish a story Hendrix had been telling her on their last visit. As Alana realised how lucky she'd been
to have Hendrix as a brother, she broke down in tears, and Mackenzie gave her the chain that Hendrix used to wear.
