Having initially planned to co-parent with Pierce Greyson and Chloe Brennan, then with David Tanaka and Aaron Brennan, Lisa Rowsthorn then found out that she was already pregnant by her ex, James. She then returned to Sydney, where baby Maeve was born later in 2020. A couple of years later, Lisa, Maeve and Lisa's older daughter, Alana, were visited by Hendrix, son of Lisa and Pierce. He arrived with his girlfriend, Mackenzie, to break the news that he had been diagnosed with pulmonary fibrosis and would need a lung transplant. Some weeks later, after having the transplant, Hendrix passed away suddenly and Mackenzie then returned to Sydney to join Hendrix's family for his funeral.
