Ricky Jones 2001, 2002

When Ramsay Street pets Bob and Harvey both went missing, their owners were surprised to see the dogs advertised in the newspaper as being for sale. Steph Scully, Lou Carpenter and Joel Samuels visited the house of Ricky Jones, the man advertising the dogs and tried to speak to him, but Lou’s temper got the better of him and Ricky slammed the door in their faces. They then changed their plan and, as Lou went to the door and apologised, Joel and Steph managed to get the dogs over the back fence, before Lou left, calling the police as he went.

A few months later, Erinsborough newcomer Stuart Parker was minding Ben, the baby son of his friends Drew and Libby, when Drew asked him to try and collect some outstanding debts for the garage where they both worked. After realising that having Ben with him was a good way of guilt-tripping people into handing over money, he spent the next day doing the same thing, but this time with a plastic doll wrapped in a blanket. When Stu called upon Ricky Jones, who owed hundreds of dollars, the plan almost worked, but just as Ricky was handing over $100, the doll fell out of the blanket and he slammed the door in Stu’s face.
