When Joe Scully became the victim of a sandwich thief at work on the building site, he was surprised to find that the culprit was a stray Border Collie/Kelpie Cross, who was quickly adopted by the Scully family, as softie Joe realised that the poor mutt had nowhere else to go. Harvey remained at number 26 through many changes in the household, and even found himself dognapped on one occasion, but was rescued by Steph Scully, Joel Samuels and Lou Carpenter. In 2006, Harvey moved, with Lyn and Oscar Scully, to 22 Ramsay Street, then a few months later, to number 32, where eldest Scully daughter Steph now lived, and where he developed a close doggy friendship with another of Ramsay Street’s canine residents, Bob.
