When Paul Robinson went missing, and was suspected to be trapped in a collapsed mineshaft, rescue working Mike Kirby headed up the search, with plenty of interference from Paul’s ex-wife, Gail, and current girlfriend Izzy Hoyland. As the group searched, it was Gail who eventually pinpointed Paul’s location, while Izzy demanded that she should be allowed to help with the dig, though Mike told her to back off, as it was too dangerous, and the team eventually got Paul out alive.
