Dale Lancer 2014, 2015
Occupation: Harper Mining Representative

During a busy day at work, Lassiter's manager Terese Willis asked junior concierge Mason Turner to show an important client, Dale Lancer, around the hotel grounds. As they were discussing the hotel's event management, Dale mentioned some recent problems with a marquee that he'd heard about. Mason immediately assumed that he was referring to a gas explosion that had taken place the year before, and said that the hotel had been cleared of any blame for the incident. Dale was surprised to hear this, explaining that he was actually referring to a leaky marquee that he'd heard about, but said that he'd like to know more about the explosion. At that moment, Terese came along, asking if Mason had given Mr Lancer all of the information he needed - Mr Lancer confirmed that he had, and Lassiter's later found out that they'd missed out on the lucrative business from the Harper Mining company.

The following week, Dale was one of the buyers interested in a property in Paul Robinson's new Freestyle housing project. Having bought up several properties surrounding Erinsborough High, Paul had been planning to make them into upscale housing, with the school on the verge of closing and becoming a campus for the more exclusive Eden Hills Grammar. However, when the council took the decision to keep Erinsborough High open after protests, Paul found himself struggling to convince potential investors that they would want to live by the school, particularly after part of the building had just been destroyed in a fire. Dale admitted his concerns about the area, but it was Paul's nephew Daniel who persuaded him to sign on the dotted line, explaining that Erinsborough was an amazing place with a lot of heart, and that he'd be proud to live there for the rest of his life. Impressed with Daniel's selling skills, Paul then offered him a job.
