Loris 1985

After learning that his father Max wasn't the real father of his brother Danny, Shane Ramsay disappeared for a few days to think things over, going to a campsite that he'd visited with Danny earlier in the year. Whilst there, Shane met two young women, Cindy and Loris, who were touring Australia in their campervan, Hildy. They told Shane that they'd ditched their office jobs and were just picking up casual work as and when they needed to. Shane was very taken with the idea, and the girls liked him a lot, and asked him to join them as they continued with their trip. When the girls then announced their imminent departure for Adelaide, Shane thought about it and decided that he would join them, even if it meant missing Danny's birthday. With the girls planning to leave the following morning, Shane hitched a ride home to give Danny an early birthday present, but his plans were derailed when news came through that Danny had suffered a bad reaction to some drugs and was in hospital. Deciding that he needed to be with his family, Shane didn't make it back to the campsite and the girls went without him.
