When Jim Robinson and Beverly Marshall got married at Jim’s home in Ramsay Street, the celebrant was Christine Matthews. Christine was soon a victim of the sharp tongue of Jim’s cousin, Hilary, who pointed out that she much preferred “the real thing” to a celebrant at home. After Jim and Beverly had completed their vows, Christine was called upon again, as Jim’s son, Paul, decided to renew his vows with wife Gail.
