During a singles’ night at Lou’s pub, Joel Samuels met Stella Powers and agreed to go on a double date with her, and his ex-girlfriend Dee Bliss and her new man, Victor McMillan. However, as the evening progressed, it became obvious to Stella that Joel was more interested in what Dee was getting up to. After Stella made attempts to strike up a conversation with him about his passion in life, marine biology, and he could barely string a sentence together, she decided to end the date early, painfully aware that there was no chemistry between them.
