When her father, Paul, convinced her to pretend to be seriously ill in order to keep her boyfriend, Dylan, by her side, Lucinda ‘Elle’ Robinson was reluctant but went along with the plan and Paul paid one of the lab workers to make Elle’s test results look like she had cancer. Elle’s concerned brother, Cameron, who wasn’t in on the plan, made sure that she was taking her medication and forced her to take one of her chemotherapy tablets in front of him. Elle was quickly taken to hospital by Paul where they lied to Dr Roberta Price that the tablets belonged to Paul’s niece Lucinda Robinson, but Elle had mistakenly taken one thinking that they were vitamin pills. After having her stomach pumped, Elle was allowed to go home.
