When Susan Kennedy’s niece, Elly Conway, attempted to run away from home and join her mother, Liz, in Sweden, she was already on the plane by the time Susan caught up with her. At the airport, customer services assistant Gillian Renshaw helped Susan to get in touch with Elly and get her off the plane just in time. In Gillian’s office, Susan told Elly to phone Liz and ask her if she would be welcome in Sweden, but, after the call, Elly said that she wouldn’t be going after all. Despite all the trouble, Gillian was sympathetic.
