Salvation Army officer Kate Rosewell provided the announcements during a charity fashion show, organised by Harold Bishop’s friends and neighbours, Felicity Scully and Joel Samuels, whilst Harold’s wife, Madge was dying of cancer. A few weeks later, as it looked like Madge was going to die much sooner than expected, Harold went to the church and met Kate, where the pair prayed together.
