Father to Pamela McAdam, Gordon Scott was distraught when she suddenly went missing soon after the accidental death of her husband, Don. It was some months after her disappearance that Libby Kennedy spotted a missing poster in the offices of the Erinsborough News, where she worked. She realised that the woman was Ronnie Anderson, a newcomer to Erinsborough who had become fixated on her husband, Drew, and had started stalking him. After contacting Gordon, who explained the situation, Libby and Drew helped him to lure Ronnie to the garage where Drew worked. Once there, Gordon stepped out from the shadows and Ronnie broke down in tears, realising that she had been found out. After thanking Libby and Drew, Gordon took his daughter away to get the help that she so urgently needed.

• Lachlan MacDonald returned in 2003 as chef Gabriel Proctor and in 2005 as Cameron Paris
