When Tash Williams's boyfriend Ed Lee mentioned that his friend Toni was returning from Sydney for a visit, Tash, believing that Toni was male and no threat to her, agreed to meet them for a drink. When Tash found out that Ed's oldest friend was actually female and that the pair had lots of shared memories to laugh about, she grew jealous. Tash started to warn Toni off, joking around with Ed and calling him 'babe'. Toni quickly became uncomfortable and left, while Ed pointed out to Tash that, one day, they'd have plenty of their own memories to laugh about.
