Following his break-up with Kate Ramsay, Lassiter's concierge Mason Turner was already short on patience when the annoying Wendy Spiers started asking him about the hotel's wedding package. Mason was becoming irritated with hearing the same questions over and over again, but when Wendy then spotted a leaflet advertising the wedding package, on which Kate was modelling as the bride, she started asking where she could get the dress, and Mason finally snapped. He angrily told her to try a bridal shop, just as his boss Paul Robinson appeared, telling Mason to go and take a break, and warning him that if he couldn't deal with annoying members of the public, then perhaps he was in the wrong job.
