When Dr. Karl Kennedy was being sued for malpractice by Maurie and Glenda Ryan, after apparently misdiagnosing cancer patient Glenda and giving her the all clear, he was represented by lawyer Trevor Thomas. However, the case ended up never happening when a guilty Glenda decided to drop it, much to her husband’s horror, and it was left to Trevor to tell Karl and his wife, Susan that the matter would be taken no further, and he was free to go.
