When the Ramsay and Robinson families competed against each other in a cricket match, thought up by multiple sclerosis sufferer Laura Dennison to raise money for an MS charity, Scott Robinson convinced his schoolfriend, and captain of the year 11 cricket team, to join his family’s side. Despite his presence, the Ramsays ended up winning by recruiting Daphne Clarke’s old friend, Philip Nolan, to their team. The following year, David was one of many old schoolfriends attending when Scott married his girlfriend, Charlene Mitchell.
