Counsellor Rob Tyler headed up an adoption support group, attended by Tad Reeves, who had recently learnt he was adopted, and Rachel Jones, who was searching for the son she’d given up. As Rachel shared her story with the group, Tad believed that he’d found his real mother. Unfortunately, when he confronted her, she explained to him that parts of their stories didn’t match up and Tad was left heartbroken, opting not to continue with the support sessions.
