As police sergeant in the country town of Woorang, Terry Walsh became involved when a high-speed chase took place in his town. The car involved was checked and found to be owned by a Dr. Karl Kennedy from Erinsborough. His family were contacted and they arrived, but were shocked to find that all of the evidence currently pointed towards Karl being the criminal. However, after some further investigation, it was discovered that a man, who did not fit Karl’s description, had been seen with the car and had used Karl’s credit card to buy cigarettes. The next morning, Karl was found and it was discovered that his car had actually been stolen by Russell Burgess, a dangerous escaped convict.

Notes: Doug Bennett previously guest-starred as Mr White in 1986, as Mr Ross in 1988 and as Bill Adams in 1992.
