When Gareth Watson overheard Lou Carpenter completing his usual sales patter in the General Store – including selling pasta sauce to Toadie and wedding stationery to Sindi and Stuart – he asked for a quiet word with him. Gareth offered Lou a little extra money on the side if he persuaded a few of his customers to get a credit card with Cashed Up! Credit. Lou succeeded in talking his neighbour, Janelle Timmins, into getting one, only for her to get herself into massive amounts of debt weeks later.

Notes: Mark Collard was previously an extra on Neighbours and in 2006 he returned in the role of Bruce Ross.
