When Toadie Rebecchi attempted a muck-up prank and put polystyrene balls in the air-conditioning system, it went badly wrong, pumping out dangerous gases into the school. Amongst the injured was Cara Winfield, but Toadie thought he had got away with the prank until Cara’s mother, Kay, dragged her to see Toadie’s guardians, Karl and Susan Kennedy. Cara explained that she had seen Toadie taking the polystyrene balls around the back of the school, and Kay demanded that he should be punished. She got her wish, when Toadie was excluded from school and forced to sit his final exams elsewhere.
