Neighbours is losing two stars…

Felice Arena, who joined the Network Ten series in March, films his final scenes this month and Maggie Dence, who has played headmistress Dorothy Burke for three years, finishes in November.

Felice says he was “initially disappointed” with storylines for his character, Marco Alessi. “I sat down with the producers and the writers and it was decided the storylines weren’t going to go on,” he says. “They are leaving it open for the character to return.”

Felice is hoping to sign a record contract.

Maggie will head to England later in the year to appear in a Christmas pantomime, Cinderella, with her ex-Neighbours co-star Melissa Bell, now starring in E Street.
