Year Ago - January and February 2003
There
was a big blast from the past for the Kennedys, some adjusting
in the Scully household and an illicit affair that threatened
to ruin many lives…

Karl receives an unexpected call from Sarah Beaumont,
asking for a reference. An unsettled Susan decides to
tamper with the reference on the computer before Karl
sends it and Sarah gets her revenge by having manure
dumped in the Kennedys’ garden
Steph
and Max agree to a date but there are various problems
and they begin to wonder if it’s worth bothering at
all. Steph later goes on a date with Lou’s new barman,
Alex
Boyd
finds out his friend Daniel is being abused by his father
and so invites him to stay at the Hoyland house for
a while. Boyd and Daniel get up to a great deal of mischief
when they start spying on the Scully bathroom
Harold
offers to donate a kidney to Lou as an olive branch
and the two friends finally make up, with the operation
a complete success
Jack and Nina’s attraction only strengthens when they
audition together for Harold’s community theatre play
about the warring Ramsay and Robinson families
Darcy
plots to keep Dee and Toadie away from each other and
causes trouble when he sets things up so he and Dee
must spend the night together in a motel
Libby begins to move on when Stuart gives her a ring
that Drew had had made for her
Ruby
arranges for Harold’s home to be robbed so that she
can pay off huge debts that she has accumulated from
her secret gambling
Lyn
and the Scully family are devastated when Connie suffers
a stroke and later dies
Susan
returns to work as VCE co-ordinator at Erinsborough
High, but finds it difficult to work alongside the new
principal, Candace Barkham

Five
Years Ago - January and February 1999
Repercussions
from the 1998 finale saw problems in several relationships
and the men of Erinsborough bare all!
New radio announcer George Caruana joins EdenFM and
immediately causes problems for Susan when he claims
that Erinsborough High is failing the local children
Sarah
saves the life of patient Deidre Kaufmann at the hospital,
but is suspended for performing the procedure without
proper supervision
Coral
arrives in town as Tad goes to court and she later admits
that she can’t cope with taking him back yet, so Toadie
agrees to let his cousin stay for another few months,
leaving Tad feeling unwanted
Phil is attacked by a swarm of wasps in his loft, leaving
him depressed, especially with Ruth away
Joel
begins physiotherapy with Cluney Webb, but struggles
with the realisation that it’ll be a long road to recovery
for him
Anne receives a visit from Gary O’Neill, nephew of Lily
Madigan, who seems friendly at first, but it soon becomes
clear that he is out to contest his aunt’s will
Sarah’s
mother, Bess O’Brien, arrives in Ramsay Street to stay
with her daughter for a while
The
men of Ramsay Street perform the Full Monty, though
Harold chickens out at the last minute
Bill and Amy kiss each other for a radio competition
to win tickets to visit Anne when she leaves for uni
– how will Anne react when she finds out?

Ten
Years Ago - January and February 1994
Misunderstandings
and a tragic accident formed the beginning of a new year in
Ramsay Street

Gaby and Annalise are rescued from their crash landing
in the bush and the incident causes their fragile friendship
to be strengthened
When
Rick catches Danni injecting, he believes that she’s
a drug addict and word quickly spreads, until she is
forced to admit that she is actually diabetic
Wayne’s younger brother Troy arrives in town and immediately
tries to set up Wayne with Lauren, a plan that seems
to have worked when the pair get closer after a night
out
Rick and Cody realise that they fancy each other, though
it seems that Cody is hiding something
Annalise is locked in the cellar by an obsessive pub
customer, Tim, but Mark manages to free her
Rick
and Cody get involved in an illegal drag race with Briggs
and Lenny from school, but things got tragically wrong
when the car crashes and Briggs dies. Cody is hit especially
hard by the incident, feeling that she could have done
something to save her friend
Gaby accepts a job offer in Milan and makes plans to
leave
Pam accuses Michael of using drugs, but is embarrassed
to realise that the needles actually belonged to diabetic
Danni
