As Karl tries to let Janae down gently and find her a new counsellor, she runs away to look for her dad in Colac, leaving Janelle under the impression that her daughter was taken advantage of by Karl and he was left suspended. Fortunately, Janae returned just in time to clear his name
Alex is diagnosed with leukaemia and given only months to live, so he suddenly proposes to Susan, scared that he’ll die and his kids will have nobody to look after them. He also starts to look for answers and turns to healer Graham Harlin – who is actually con artist Jonathan Verne. Steph recognises him from Life Mechanics and Jonathan is finally arrested by Stuart
Connor finds out that Maddy is seriously ill with an ear infection and he desperately needs to raise the cash for the operation to go private or she’ll be in pain for months.
