No 32 - Kitchen: Vanessa explains that Alec has offered her $100,000 for a quick annulment, with no strings attached. Lucas can't quite believe it, but
Vanessa explains that he wants to remarry, and that he's quite wealthy now and doesn't want Vanessa to lay claim to any more of his assets. Lucas admits that he didn't know what to think when he found them in the hotel room together, but
she explains that Alec only came looking for her to sort out the paperwork. He asks if she's going to accept the money, and she points out that it would cover the mortgage on number 32 for a while, and would help with the payments for the
apartment - Lucas asks if she wants to do this together, or if she no longer wants to be with him, but she says that they can talk that through later. Paul then comes in, wanting to know if the auction is going ahead, and Vanessa turns to
Lucas and asks him what he wants to do.
No 32 - Back Garden: Lauren and Lou are delighted to have been told that the auction is cancelled, and that Lucas and Vanessa won't be selling for a
while yet - and hopefully by then, the Turners will be able to afford to buy the place themselves. Bailey says that he wishes he could have seen Paul's face, and Lauren can't wait to tell Matt.
No 22: Josh is happy to get a text from Amber telling him that the Turners are staying - he's happy, as it would have seriously cut into his training time,
and Imogen jokes about him being so romantic. Terese then comes down, dressed up for the Spring event at Lassiter's, and suggests that when she finishes that afternoon, she and Brad should go on a date - Josh calls them lame as they consider
joining in the treasure hunt. Terese then realises that Imogen has a counselling session, and some free periods, that afternoon, and wonders if they should cancel, but Imogen insists that she'll be able to cope on her own for a few hours. Hudson
then arrives, and Josh jokes with him about his new Lassiter's tracksuit - Brad is amazed that they seem to be fighting one minute and best mates the next. They rather awkwardly tell him that it's easier if they're mates, and can concentrate on
the swimming.
Harold's Store: Georgia is doing some writing when Karl comes in. He explains that he's been looking for her, and she says that she changed her shift so she
can perform at the Lassiter's Spring event. Karl then tells her that Robbo's autopsy results came in, and Georgia wasn't to blame for what happened - she just happened to be there at the time. Georgia is a little stunned, and Karl says that he
hopes that this news can help her to come to terms with things.
Charlie's: Matt is buying some Champagne to celebrate his family staying on Ramsay Street, and Sheila is pleased that Paul hasn't managed to buy up another
one of the houses. Matt can't resist a little gloat as Paul then comes in with Jack. Across the bar, Paul is telling Jack about the auction, but says that at least he now has some spare cash to buy something else. Jack suggests that Paul should
stop trying to buy back his childhood, and focus on making himself happy now, though Paul insists that it was simply a business acquisition, and had nothing to do with his past.
Ramsay Street: Lou and Lucas stand outside number 32, and Lucas talks about the deal that Vanessa did with Alec. Lou wonders how Lucas feels about it, as he
doesn't look too happy about the whole thing.
No 32 - Kitchen: Inside, Vanessa has been telling Lauren that she had her doubts about the deal, and that she's trying not to think too hard about where Alec's money
might have come from. Lauren says that at least now they can put the money worries to one side, and focus on the relationship. Vanessa doesn't look too sure.
Ramsay Street: Lou reminds Lucas that his relationship with Vanessa is hanging by a thread, and refusing Alec's deal would only have made things worse. Lou suggests
that Lucas should just get over it, but Lucas tells him that's easier said than done.
No 32 - Kitchen: Vanessa says that she thought the deal with a great solution for everyone, until she saw Lucas's face when she told him. And now she's upset and
angry, as he was the one who was sneaking around and got them into all this debt, and she's just doing what she can to get them out of it.
Ramsay Street: Lou points out to Lucas that he has a young family to think about, and this money will help - even if it does come from Alec. Lucas can't get past the
fact that Alec was her first love, and now he's come back and saved the day, and almost ruined their relationship in the process. Lou says that it was Lucas's stupid male pride that nearly ruined the relationship, and it's beginning to develop into a
pattern.
No 32 - Kitchen: Lauren tells Vanessa that if she truly wants to be with Lucas, then they will manage to overcome this, but if she doesn't, then it's always going
to be a problem. She just has to work out, in her heart of hearts, what she really wants.
Lassiter's Complex: Paul is introducing Jack to people at the Lassiter's Spring event, and Terese tells Paul that everything seems to be running smoothly. Paul then
introduces Jack to Georgia, and then to Hudson. Jack asks where Mason is today, and Paul says that Mason isn't working today, and he's not that interested in furthering Mason's career at the moment. Jack says that Paul can't just throw people away like that,
when they're no longer of personal use - Paul says that he has better things to do than listen to an old man's lectures. He walks away, and Jack shakes his head in disbelief.
Lassiter's Hotel - Room 613: Vanessa finishes signing the papers and hands them over to Alec - they're both happy to finally be able to put it all behind them. As Lucas
asks whether Alec will be leaving Melbourne now, Alec replies that he'll be flying home that afternoon, as his fiancee is anxious to see him. Vanessa thanks Alec for the cheque, and he tells her that he's going to be a better husband in this marriage. As she
and Lucas leave, Alec asks her if she remembers the small hotel in Tirana, where they stayed just after they were married - it had no heating or running water, nothing like Lassiter's. Vanessa struggles to remember it, and Alec says that it was a lifetime ago.
Lassiter's Complex: As Georgia performs for the crowd, Hudson approaches Terese, telling her that he's feeling unwell and is going home. Outside reception, Paul is
charming one of the guests, and then Jack comes over, asking about the flashy sports car. Paul explains that he just bought it for himself, and Jack says that it sounds like he's having a midlife crisis. Paul admits that he's about to turn 50, and Jack
says that, at that age, he was just marrying Andrea, and now he never hears from her. He says that he's just a rich old man, with nobody to share it with. Paul wonders if Jack is hinting that they're similar, pointing out that he has his kids. Jack says
that none of those kids are around now, and that Paul doesn't seem to have many friends either - he explains that he just doesn't want Paul to end up making the same mistakes he did.
Lucas and Vanessa's Apartment: Lucas and Vanessa return home after picking up Patrick, and she says that she'll bank the cheque and they can work out how to split it between their two
properties. Lucas says that she doesn't have to do that, and can keep the money and start afresh, away from him, if she wants to. She says that's not what she wants and, although they have a lot of work to do, she loves him and wants to stay with him, and she might even
go to one of his GA meetings, to learn how to support him better. He tells her that she's amazing, and admits that he felt very threatened when he saw her with Alec. She tells him that Alec is in her past, and he had nothing to feel threatened about, then she suddenly
remembers that she forgot to cancel the wedding and they're going to lose their deposit. Lucas then says that maybe they don't need to cancel, even if the annulment won't be back in time, they could still have another fake wedding - only this time, they're really in love
and can celebrate it with their friends. He gets down on one knee and asks her to fake marry him again, and she happily accepts.
Grease Monkeys - Exterior: Brad and Terese have been unexpectedly joined by Karl for their date afternoon, as they try to track the final treasure hunt riddle. They all
think that the clue is definitely pointing to somewhere around the garage or Grease Monkeys, then Sheila comes out of the second-hand shop, helping a couple of other treasure hunters. Karl calls her over and asks why she isn't helping her neighbours - she
apologises, and says that she's just helping others, as she won the treasure last week. She then explains that she believes the treasure to be in the skip across the street, and Brad and Terese go over there. Karl hangs back, and calls Sheila a shocker,
saying that it's clear that the money is in the junk shop and she's sending everyone else on a wild goose chase.
Rubbish Skip: Brad is in the skip, along with one of the other treasure hunters, as Terese asks him whether he believes that Imogen might be covering up her real
feelings again. Brad says that they just need to make it clear that they're there for her when she needs them. They then start to wonder where Karl's gotten to, and begin to realise that maybe Sheila's help wasn't so helpful, before Terese gets a text
saying that Reg from the junk shop has found the treasure at the bus stop. Brad is about to get out of the skip when he notices a phone - he hands it to Terese, but the battery's dead.
No 22: Terese arrives back, and asks Imogen if she's ready to go to her counselling session. Imogen says that she'll grab a drink first, and tells her mum that she
managed to get through an afternoon on her own without any problems. She asks about the treasure hunt, and Terese says that they didn't find the money, but they found an old phone in a bin. As she starts to describe it, Imogen realises who it belongs to,
and is alarmed when Terese says that they gave it to the police. Imogen then says that she left her food journal across at Amber's, but will meet her mum out in the car.
No 32 - Kitchen: Lauren is coming in with some washing, when Imogen walks in, looking for Mason. She claims that she needs to talk to him about the car, and Lauren
says that she'll pass on the message if she sees him. Once Lauren is out of earshot, Imogen calls Mason, telling him that the police have the phone.
Erinsborough Police Station: As Imogen leaves the message for Mason, Matt is at the station, where the phone has been charged up. He looks on it, finds the video
of Amber and Robbo, and looks completely horrified.
