No 32 - Kitchen: Josh chases Amber into the house, apologising for getting the wrong idea. Amber reminds him that it was only two weeks
ago that they agreed to wait, but he says that she's been giving out some vibes... Lauren then comes in, and Amber clams up, so Josh decides to leave. Lauren tries to talk to her daughter, but Amber angrily leaves the room,
sarcastically thanking Lauren for trusting her.
No 22 - Lounge: Josh storms into the house and slams the door. He tells his parents that he thought Amber was ready, but she needs more
time. Brad suggests that Josh and Amber need to talk, but Terese stops her son from leaving and says that Amber will need some time to calm down first. Josh says that he's really stuffed up and he isn't sure that he can
fix this.
No 30 - Lounge: Kate is trying to help Gem with her preparation for school, but Gem doesn't seem too interested. Kate asks if Gem would
rather do this herself, but Gem insists that it's been a huge help to her, though she then asks if Kate can just summarise the points rather than make her read through everything. They're interrupted by Georgia and Kyle
arriving back from her first recording session. Gem asks if they could go out to dinner later, since Georgia's been out all day, but Kyle explains that he has tickets to the cinema, and Gem looks disappointed that she's been
left out, which Kate notices. Georgia then explains that she has a photoshoot that evening, and suggests that Kyle could take Gem instead. Things are instantly awkward, which Kate also notices, and Kyle says that it's a chick
flick, so it might be better for Gem and Kate to go together. Kate agrees, but is surprised when Gem decides to give up on going through the syllabus, claiming that she's got it all under control.
Charlie's: Karl is putting up an ad, looking for a new drummer for The Right Prescription. He sits with Susan and tells her that the time
feels right to get the band back together, and Susan realises that he has been a little out of sorts recently - plus he's a bit envious of Georgia's success as a singer. Susan spots a guy taking Karl's number from the ad,
and Karl approaches him, asking if he's a singer. The man, Taylor, explains that he's a drummer, and the band sounds quite good. Karl tries to sell it to him, and Taylor asks if he's the manager - when Karl then explains
that he's the lead singer, Taylor says that he just needed a piece of paper to write down a chick's number. He makes a quick exit, and Karl looks crushed.
No 32 - Kitchen: Amber is getting a drink as Lauren comes in with the washing - they look at each other, and Amber is about to leave,
but Lauren says that she wasn't judging her earlier. Amber says that it seemed that way, as Lauren rushed home to stop her from doing something she wasn't even doing. Amber walks out, as Matt walks in and asks Lauren
what's going on. She tries to say it's nothing, but then tells him about catching Amber and Josh in the spa. She can barely explain the whole story before Matt rushes out of the house, with Amber close behind.
No 22 - Lounge: Terese answers the door to Matt, who bursts in and starts accusing Josh of pressuring Amber. Josh says that he would
never do that, because he loves Amber - just as she comes in the door and hears. She's surprised, as he's never said that to her, but he tells her it's true and he's really sorry about what happened earlier. They make
up and hug, as a proud Brad and Terese, and an awkward Matt, look on.
No 22 - Lounge: Amber is apologetic about her dad's overreaction, but Josh understands, saying that Matt is just being protective, and he
feels the same way towards her. He says that it was good that he had the opportunity to tell everyone how serious he is about her, and he again tells her that he loves her. She asks him how much - he tells her that he loves her
infinity plus one. He then waits for Amber to say it back, and she pretends not to know what he's on about, before saying that she loves him too, infinity plus infinity. She explains, however, that she still wants to wait before
sleeping together, and checks that Josh would be happy to wait six months. He says that it's fine, but looks a bit shocked once Amber's back is turned.
Ramsay Street: Matt is heading out for a run, and spots Brad across the street, about to do the same thing. Matt goes over to apologise for
his behaviour earlier - Brad jokes that they'd all expect nothing less from him, and they love him for it. They realise that, now that the 'love' word has been mentioned, they've completely lost any power over Amber and Josh,
and will just have to let them get on with it. Matt then asks if they can change the subject, and Brad says that he's going to destroy Matt in the upcoming fun run. They agree to train together, and are about to run off, when
Karl calls out and asks if he can join them.
Harold's Store: Kate and Gem are joking about how cheesy the film was, and Gem once again clams up at the mention of Kyle's name. Kate
asks what's going on, and Gem explains that, when she first arrived, she mistakenly thought that Kyle was asking her out on a date. Kate asks how Georgia reacted when she found out, but Gem explains that neither she nor
Kyle has told her, and she'd appreciate it if Kate didn't say anything either. Kate smiles awkwardly and agrees not to say anything.
Lassiter's Lake: Brad, Matt and Karl are continuing their run down by the lake - Karl is ahead, but has to stop to tie his laces. They run on ahead without
him, but he smiles as he spots a short cut through the bushes. However, as he gets up to run after them, he injures his leg and falls over.
Harold's Store: Karl is sitting with a bag of frozen peas on his ankle, and Susan wants to know why he went out for a run without telling her,
as it's very unlike him to be spontaneous. He explains that he was racing Brad and Matt, and was about to take a short cut when he fell - Susan's surprised to hear that he was cheating, and asks what's gotten into him lately. He
then tells her that he's starting to feel his age a bit, after what happened with that drummer earlier. Susan suggests that he needs to give it more time, as he might find someone perfect for the band and a whole new sound for
The Right Prescription. She then suggestively tells Karl that there are still some things he's not too old for, and suggests that they should go home, so she can play nurse.
Lassiter's Complex: Kyle is fixing a lock at the Lassiter's reception, when Kate walks by. She mentions to Kyle that she's been speaking to Gem,
and knows what happened between them. Kate asks why he didn't say anything to Georgia, and Kyle explains that Gem begged him not to say anything - Kate says that she was asked to do the same thing. Kyle wonders what they should
do, as Georgia is so happy to have Gem around and he doesn't want to ruin it - Kate says that he can't keep secrets from his girlfriend, but Kyle points out that it wouldn't be the first time. Kate says that was completely
different - Kyle says that it was much worse. She thinks that Kyle needs to tell Georgia what happened with Gem - who they realise is standing nearby and has heard them. Gem says that she was going to Harold's, as she left her
bag there, and she walks off, leaving Kate and Kyle wondering how much of their conversation she heard.
No 32 - Kitchen: Amber is finishing up a phone call to Josh, telling him again how much she loves him, as Lauren comes in. She asks how
things are with Josh, and says that there's no better feeling than when someone first tells you that they love you. Lauren also apologises for her behaviour earlier, and Amber explains that it felt like her mum didn't trust
her, and says that, even if Josh was putting pressure on her, she's still capable of saying no. Lauren says that it was wrong of her to jump to conclusions like that, but Amber doesn't understand why her mum did it, and
walks out.
Ramsay Street: Amber is sitting outside number 32, when Terese comes across the street for a chat. She invites Amber to breakfast at
Harold's, with her and Imogen, the next morning, before they start their work experience. Amber accepts, and then apologises for her father's behaviour earlier. She says that it's been causing problems with her mum too,
as she didn't believe that she was going to wait before having sex with Josh. Terese explains that this may be her fault, as she put the idea in Lauren's head that things might have been moving faster than they were. As
Lauren comes outside to put the rubbish out, Terese tells Amber to go easy on her mum, and leaves. Amber then walks over and hugs Lauren, thanking her for having faith. Lauren says that she always did, but when she was
younger, she wasn't very good at saying no to boys, and she doesn't want Amber to fall into the same trap. They go inside, with Lauren taking a little look back over her shoulder at the Willis house.
Charlie's: Georgia is showing the pictures from her photoshoot to Kate, Kyle and Gem. She immediately notices a bit of tension in the air,
and Kyle quickly excuses himself to go to the bar. Georgia then asks Kate about it, who says that she needs to go to the bathroom again. Left with only Gem, Georgia turns to her to find out what's up with everyone, and says
that neither of them is going anywhere until she finds out.
Charlie's: Kate returns, and asks Kyle if he needs a hand with the drinks. She tells him that they can't keep acting so awkwardly, but
then Gem comes over and apologises, saying that Georgia needed to know the truth. Gem makes a hasty exit, and Georgia then walks over, asking when they were planning to tell her, and why they've been lying this whole time.
