• Susan asking Gem if there is any reason she should know about that she left her last school
• Gem admitting to Kate that she tried to hook up with Kyle when she first arrived in Erinsborough and asking Kate to keep the news from Georgia
• Gem appearing, just as Kyle tells Kate that what he did with her was worse than what happened with Gem
• Georgia asking when Kate and Kyle were going to stop telling lies and keeping her in the dark

Charlie's: Kyle puts down the drinks on the bar and tries to explain, but Georgia jumps in and says that Gem told her everything; Georgia found out that Gem made a pass at Kyle. Visibly relieved, after fearing their one night stand was about to be revealed, Kyle admits that what Gem told Georgia was true. Georgia says that she doesn't have a problem with Gem, as she didn't know, but she is annoyed at Kyle and Kate for not explaining what happened. Kyle tells Georgia it wasn't Kate's fault as she only just found out. Georgia still wants to know why nobody said anything, and reveals that Gem said she wanted to tell Her about it, but that Kyle had asked her not to. Kyle doesn't reveal that it was actually the other way round, and, telling Kyle and Kate she will see them later, she heads off to meet Gem back at the house.

No 26: Kyle and Kate arrive back at the house, Kyle asking Kate if he should have defended himself more. When Kate says she knows why, Kyle admits that, because of their mistake months ago, he deserves everything coming his way. Kate wonders if the reason Gem told Georgia was because she thought that Kate and Kyle were going to tell Georgia first, after overhearing their conversation. Kyle wonders just how calculating and manipulative Gem is; he then asks if Kate thinks about what happened between them very often, as the truth was almost revealed. Kate admits that it is always in the back of her mind, and Kyle admits he feels the same. Realising how hurt Georgia would be, they both vow to keep the secret of their one night stand.

No 30: Callum is watching the TV when Susan is led into the room by Gem. Susan asks how Gem is feeling about her first day at school, and wonders if she has questions about the syllabus. With no questions from Gem, Susan bids farewell. Gem sits down at the table with the syllabus as Georgia arrives home. Gem asks if everything is alright and Georgia says that Gem did the right thing telling her what had happened. Gem says she understands why Kate and Kyle didn't say anything as they care about Georgia, just like Gem does. Georgia says she is happy Gem is there, and they arrange to spend the evening together. Whilst doing so, Gem puts Georgia off the idea of visiting Kyle.

Lassiter's Complex - Outside Harold's Store: Brad, Terese, Amber and Imogen are all sitting around a table, being served coffees by Lauren. Lauren asks how Amber and Imogen are feeling about work experience. Imogen says she is looking forward to shadowing Toadie and Amber hesitantly replies that she is too, working at the hotel with Terese. Imogen and Brad both head off, as does Amber, who races off to get a new lid for Terese's cup, which is broken. Alone, Lauren thanks Terese for helping her to clear the air the previous day between herself and Amber. Terese replies that it's not a problem, as mums have to stick together, and as Amber returns with a new lid, they head over to the hotel together.

Rebecchi Law - Reception/Office: Toadie is telling Imogen that, with his assistant away, she may have to answer the phone for him. He leads her to the office, showing her archiving, filing and data entry jobs that need doing, much to Imogen's disappointment. Imogen explains that she wanted to see more of what being a lawyer was like, such as going to court, but Toadie explains that he isn't in court that week. He then sends her on a coffee run, handing her a few dollars as she leaves.

Erinsborough High: Susan is leading Gem down the stairs, telling her about work expected from the Year 11s. Gem asks what Susan means, and Susan points out that it was explained in the syllabus. As Susan heads off, Kate arrives; Gem apologises for making things awkward. Kate admits it is awkward and asks Gem why she told Georgia that Kyle tried to keep things quiet, when it was actually the other way round. Gem tries to brush the accusation off, saying that she never said Kyle tried to keep it quiet and that Georgia must have heard what she wanted to hear. Kate watches as Georgia innocently heads off to class. Meanwhile, in a classroom, Callum and Bailey are bickering about the assignment when Susan and Gem enter. Susan introduces Gem as the new science teacher: Gem explains she is going to try and change their perception that science is dull.

Rebecchi Law - Reception/Office: Imogen arrives with coffee as Toadie is in his office with the customer from the gym who had an accident on the faulty equipment. Toadie asks the man if Imogen can stay in, as she is on work experience. Imogen takes a seat behind Toadie when the man assents. When the man explains that his case is connected to the gym at the Dingoes centre, Toadie asks Imogen to go and man the reception desk. She reluctantly heads off when Toadie insists she leaves. The man tells Toadie about the accident and says that it was caused by negligence. Toadie stops the discussion, saying that he knows the manager of the gym, Brad Willis and it could be a conflict of interests, but the man says he doesn't have a problem as long as Toadie does a good job. He adds that he wants compensation for his injuries. Meanwhile, Imogen is listening at the door. As the man leaves, Toadie spots Imogen and tells her that she was told to man the front desk. Imogen replies that Brad would never be negligent, but Toadie tells her they cannot discuss the case.

Charlie's: Susan is getting a coffee when she spots Toadie reading at a table. She asks how Imogen is getting on, and when Toadie clams up, she sits down with him and asks what's going on. Toadie reveals he is reluctant to take a case because it would be a conflict of interest as he is friends with the person his client wants to sue. Susan tells Toadie that work is work, and whether he knows the person shouldn't dictate him taking on a case or not. She adds the person will be sued either way, but at least with Toadie on board, it will be done fairly. Imogen, looking worried walks in and, as Susan leaves, asks Toadie if he is really going ahead with the claim. Toadie tells Imogen that it would be the company being sued, and as she has signed a confidentiality agreement, she is unable to talk about the case with anyone.

Erinsborough High: Susan asks Kate how Gem is getting on, and asks her to offer her support if she needs it. Kate admits she has noticed that Gem is not always upfront, when asked by Susan if there is anything she would like to tell her. Susan asks for an example, but Kate can't give one, as the situation had been personal. Susan asks Kate to keep her informed, and as Kate heads off, Susan looks worried.

No 22: Toadie hands over a letter to Brad, detailing the case. He tells Brad that he thought a lot about it before taking the case on, and wanted to tell him about it face to face. In shock, Brad sits down and tells Toadie not to worry as he is only doing his job. Toadie asks Brad if Imogen would be better working somewhere else, as she knows about the case, but Brad insists that Imogen was looking forward to her work experience placement and asks Toadie to keep her on. Toadie accepts and tells Brad he will keep Imogen away from the case where possible. Toadie departs, leaving Brad to call the company to inform them of the customer's decision to sue.

Lassiter's Complex: Terese and Amber are walking through the foyer of the hotel, discussing what Amber would like to do when she leaves school. Terese recommends to Amber that she sets goals for her future, offering her different possibilities of future career paths. Amber is unsure what she wants to do, and can only be vague with Terese, before Terese has to head off, leaving Amber looking thoughtful.

Erinsborough High: Gem settles a class down, and reveals she has marked the science assignments submitted by the students. As Gem explains how much work the students need to do to sort their grades out, she sees "Hot-Josie" a friend of Callum's texting. Gem grabs the phone from her, reading her texts to the rest of the class. Gem puts the phone on the desk, and proceeds to give out the tests, telling those who didn't do well with their assignments not to get disheartened. Gem tells Bailey he got an A- and Callum looks in shock at his own paper, discovering that he has done better than Bailey, much to Bailey's annoyance.

No 32: Lauren is at the table when Amber comes in. Lauren asks Amber how work experience went, and Amber tells Lauren that Terese thought she lacked focus in the hotel. Amber asks why the Turners don't discuss careers and Lauren says that her and Matt didn't set goals for the Turner children, as they thought they were all capable of finding their own career paths. Amber wonders why she doesn't know what she want to do and Lauren says that not everybody does by the time they leave school.

No 22: In the garden, Brad and Terese are urging Imogen to leave Toadie to his job and not get involved. Imogen gets up to return, leaving Brad to admit to Terese that the insurance money may not cover the claim as the lack of signage on the equipment could negate the insurance policy. Brad goes on to say he could, therefore, be personally liable to the for the claim being made: 500,000 dollars. Imogen, who has not yet entered the house looks mortified, having heard all of the conversation between Brad and Terese.

Rebecchi Law - Office: Imogen tells Toadie that if Brad and Terese have to pay they could lose everything. Toadie urges Imogen to separate personal and professional matters, asking Imogen to let him do his job when she states that the man is clearly a conman. Toadie heads off to a meeting, asking Imogen to archive the files he told her about earlier. As Toadie leaves, Imogen goes behind Toadies desk, pulling out the file on the compensation claim. She looks inside, taking the contents over to the photocopier.
