• Paul asks Tim to get his fraud conviction expunged
• Eric tells Toadie of his plans to sue the gym
• Brad tells Terese that he may have to pay the $50,000 compensation
• Bailey is shocked when Callum gets an A in their science assignment

Ramsay Street: Bailey can't believe that Callum got an A, when he got an A-, and Callum barely even knew what a cell was when they were doing the assignment together. Callum reminds Bailey that they're not meant to be talking to each other, but Bailey grabs the essay and spots a typo on the first page. He wonders if Miss Reeves used the wrong marking criteria, but Callum snatches it back and says that Bailey just can't handle someone doing better than him. Bailey can't believe what he's hearing, and says that even Callum was convinced that he'd failed, when he was talking to Hot Josie earlier. He says that he's going to speak to Miss Reeves and find out what went wrong.

No 30: Callum is sitting at the table, staring at his essay, as Sonya walks past and notices the mark. Toadie then comes in, and they're both quite surprised, but then excited as it's the first time he's received such a high mark. Callum says that it's a bit weird, as he scored higher than Bailey, but Toadie and Sonya say that they're proud of him, and that now he just needs to apply this kind of effort to the rest of his studies.

Harold's Store: Mason is looking over the evidence that Imogen has gathered against Eric Edwards. He's surprised by the lengths she's gone to, and he says that he'll make sure that he never gets on her bad side. He tells her to be careful not to get caught, but she says that she's smart enough not to - though she is stuck over what to do next. She asks for Mason's help, pointing out that he has experience with criminal activities - he says that he can't take much longer before he gets back to work, as Paul needs him to move some files, but he takes another look at the papers. He says that there really isn't much to go on, and he asks Imogen if she's sure that this guy is dodgy. Imogen says that her father would never be negligent, so Mason tells her to keep digging until she finds out exactly what's going on.

Erinsborough High - Classroom: Gem is playing a clip, of Georgia singing, to her class, when Kate comes in. She explains that this doesn't really seem like a science lesson, and explains that the noise can be heard all the way down the corridor. Gem apologises, but once Kate has gone, she just carries on playing the clip anyway. Meanwhile, Callum is asking Bailey what he's going to do about the assignment - Bailey says that he's going to speak to Mrs Kennedy. Callum tries to talk him out of it, as his parents were so proud of him, plus Gem could get into a lot of trouble, but Bailey says that it's unfair on the whole class if their marks are wrong.

Ramsay Street: Imogen is walking home when Brad catches up with her, as he comes back from a run. She says that, although Toadie no longer wants her to help, she's going to continue to offer her services to Brad, and she starts asking questions about Eric Edwards. She wants to know whether he was a regular gym member and whether he usually trained alone, but Brad thinks that she should just leave the investigative work to Toadie. Brad says that he's going to get a lawyer and he'll be fine, but Imogen isn't convinced.

Lassiter's Complex: Matt spots Lou sitting on a bench, and asks what he's up to. He says that he's writing a postcard to Lolly, thanking her for coming to the party. Mason then comes by, and Matt asks if he wants to play basketball after work, but Mason says that he'll be too busy. Matt and Lou want to know what he's up to, and he points to the boxes full of documents, and says that Paul's had him lugging them around, from his penthouse and from the courthouse, and taking them over the Tim Collins' offices. This immediately piques Matt's interest, but Mason says that he doesn't know what he's doing or why he's doing it. As Mason leaves, Lou comments that the only person he knows who's dodgier than Paul is Tim Collins, and Matt says that if they're working together, then they must be up to something, and they're dragging Mason into it now. He decides to go and call a friend at the courthouse who owes him a favour.

Erinsborough High: Bailey is looking at his essay again, and he spots Susan and asks for a word. Susan, however, is about to speak to Gem, so asks Bailey is he can come back in a few minutes. Bailey waits at the classroom door as Susan tells Gem that she has to stick to teaching the school syllabus, and that doesn't include playing music videos. Gem explains that she was just rewarding the kids for their assignments - Susan tells her that it's a bad tone to be setting on day one in a new job. Gem apologises and says that it won't happen again, and she leaves the room looking unhappy. Bailey watches her, and when Susan comes out and asks him what he wanted, he changes his mind and says that it doesn't matter after all.

Harold's Store: Matt has been buying a coffee and is leaving when Paul walks in. Matt says that he's been speaking to a friend at the courthouse, and he knows that Paul has been trying to get his old fraud conviction quashed. Paul is more interested in whether Mason has been talking to his father, but Matt says that he didn't hear any of it from Mason, and he just wants to know why Paul is doing this. Paul says that he wants justice to be done, and explains that he had a brain tumour, which had been affecting his behaviour all along. Matt isn't convinced, and asks Paul to keep Mason out of it, but Paul says that he sees a lot of himself in Mason, and thinks the boy has a bright future.

Erinsborough High - Corridor: Callum approaches Bailey by the lockers, and asks if he spoke to Susan about the assignments. Bailey explains that he was going to, but she was having a go at Gem about the music clip in class, and he felt bad for her so he didn't bother. Callum jokes that if Bailey ever needs help with his science homework, he knows where to come.

Erinsborough High - Classroom: Kate is doing some marking in an empty classroom, when Gem comes in, closing the door behind her. She angrily says that Kate clearly couldn't wait to go running to Mrs Kennedy to dob her in - Kate explains that she didn't say anything, and that Susan heard a group of kids talking about it. Gem backs down, as Kate says that if she had a problem with Gem, she'd talk to her before running to the principal. Gem says that she's really sorry, and she should have known that Kate wouldn't do something like that. Gem asks Kate for a coffee, but Kate turns her down, and Gem quickly leaves, apologising again, but giving a confused Kate a very dirty look as she goes.

No 32 - Kitchen: Matt asks Lou what he remembers about Paul's original fraud confession - Lou says that it involved Paul's brother-in-law, Philip Martin, and it was quite a big deal at the time. Lou explains that Paul then fled the country, but spent a few years in prison when he came back, and says that nothing seems to stick to Paul Robinson. Matt says that he witnessed that for himself when Paul tried to bribe a counsellor, and got away with it, even though everyone knew he was guilty. Lou points out that knowing it, and proving it, are two different things. They both go quiet as Mason comes in, looking for a work shirt in the laundry, and he realises that they're talking about Paul. Matt warns Mason to be careful, but Mason doesn't want to listen and says that he needs to get back to work. Lou suggests that Matt should just drop the matter, but then Matt says that he knows someone who might be able to help.

Rebecchi Law - Reception: Imogen is on Facebook, trying to get more info on Eric, but can't access his page. She's looking at his files, considering what to do next, when Toadie comes out of his office. She pulls down the browser, but Toadie sees the Facebook logo and tells her that, even though she isn't on the payroll, she shouldn't be doing personal stuff at work. She apologises, and Toadie leaves her with some filing to do. Alone again, she starts looking down the list of Eric's family, and resumes her Facebook search.

No 22 - Kitchen: Imogen is hassling Brad to look at a photo she found on Facebook, though he reminds her that she was supposed to be keeping out of it. She says that she went on Eric's sister's Facebook page and found a photo of him skiing a couple of months ago, with a comment saying that he wouldn't be doing that again for a while. She explains that she thinks Eric injured his back whilst skiing, and faked the gym injury to get money out of Brad. Brad can't believe that she went through Eric's file and thinks that this won't be enough proof anyway, but Imogen thinks that if she could find out which ski resort it was, she could contact them and verify her theory. She explains that she hates seeing her dad go through this, and wants to help. Brad says that, if her theory is true, hopefully it will come to light another way, but it can't happen like this.

Harold's Store: Imogen is looking at the photo of Eric when Georgia walks by and recognises it as Mount Buller, having been there herself once before. Imogen thinks that information could really help, and asks Georgia if she's ever had a friend who's in trouble, but doesn't seem to want any help with it. Georgia says that she meets stubborn people all the time at the hospital, and Imogen shouldn't underestimate the power of nagging. Georgia then goes over to Kate and Susan, and asks them about Gem's first day. Kate says that first days can be challenging, and Susan says that, once Gem finds her feet, she should be a real asset to the school. Georgia is pleased, and heads home to see Gem, whilst Kate asks Susan if that's what she really thinks. Susan admits that she isn't sure at all about Gem - she's never had to give a teacher a warning on their first day, and the way she reacted to Kate was completely over-the-top. Susan hopes that it's just first day nerves, and that Gem will settle in.

No 30: Gem is telling Georgia that the kids were great, but she's getting the impression that Kate doesn't like her. Georgia is surprised to hear that, and Gem wonders if Kate feels threatened by having another young teacher at the school. Georgia wonders if she should say something, but Gem insists that she doesn't want to create more tension. As Georgia leaves for her date with Kyle, Callum wanders out from his room and thanks Gem for the A in his assignment. He asks if he really deserved it, but Gem says that he's her cousin and he did deserve it, and she's sure he'll think of a way to repay her.

Lassiter's Hotel - Reception: Mason tracks down Paul, wanting to have a chat about his position within the hotel. He says that Paul hasn't been making things very easy for him lately, but Paul explains that he's just been testing Mason's loyalty, and he passed. He also tells Mason not to listen to Matt, as he has a personal vendetta and that shouldn't spoil Mason's chances of making a career for himself.

Ramsay Street: Rhiannon is getting out of a taxi outside number 32, and Matt is welcoming her. Mason is also returning home, surprised to see his ex, and Matt explains that he invited Rhiannon down, as she's going to help him land Paul Robinson. Mason looks worried as he follows them into the house.
