Ramsay Street: Kyle is returning from a run with Bossy when he sees Gem and Georgia head over to stand by Number 24. Georgia asks Gem why the "For Lease" sign is still up, when they heard that the house had been given to other tenants. Gem feigns ignorance, whilst Kyle runs over and asks what they are all going to do now. Kyle suggests checking out more places, but Georgia changes the subject and instead says she has to organise the fun run. Kyle is left bemused as Georgia and Gem head off.

No 26: Kate is in the kitchen, bringing her breakfast to the table. She tells Kyle, who is putting in some washing, that she thinks its strange that the house would be given to strangers rather than people already known to the Kapoors. Kate wonders if there was something wrong with the application, and asks Kyle which of them put the application in. Kyle rebukes Kate for sighing when he admits that Gem put it in, and Kate adds how interesting it is that it is convenient for Gem and nobody else. When Kyle asks what Kate means, Kate explains that Gem wanted to move in with Georgia, not Kyle. Kyle refutes that Gem had anything to do with it, instead blaming Georgia for seemingly having cold feet about the move when he bumped into her earlier in the day. Kate wonders whether Gem had said anything to Georgia about the move.

No 30: Toadie and Sonya are having breakfast in silence. Sonya says that Toadie was up early; Toadie admits he is working on a counter claim, planning to sue Eric for fraud and defamation. Toadie adds that perjury and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice are also possibilities. Sonya asks Toadie if he has been possessed by the spirit of Paul Robinson, and says that, although she gets where Toadie is coming from, she thinks Toadie should talk things through with Eric first. Toadie retorts that he went out of his way to help Eric and now Eric is trying to shaft their family. Sonya replies that the whole situation has got out of hand, and wonders whether they could all work together. Toadie angrily replies that Sonya's interfering led them into the mess they are in, so he is planning to take the lead on how to proceed. as he leaves, Sonya looks thoughtful.

Harold's Store: Sonya and Mandy, Eric's wife, are in Harold's, discussing whether Mandy knew about Eric's claim. Mandy says that she didn't know, and blames herself, revealing that she and Eric fought, leading to her storming out and staying in a motel. Mandy adds that, when Eric called to sort things out, she said that their only hope was if he could make the whole mess disappear. Sonya tells Mandy that it is not her fault, and Mandy replies that Eric is just desperate to be a good father and provider. Sonya asks Mandy if she will leave Eric for good, and Mandy says that she doesn't know; she admits she loves Eric, but that the constant cycle of bad decisions has to end sometime.

Erinsborough High - Classroom: Kate comes into Gem's class and asks Gem if she can talk to the students. Gem, who is filing her nails whilst the students are watching a wildlife documentary, says that Kate can. As Gem pauses the film, Kate introduces the election of the 2014 school captain. gem blurts out that she was school captain, as Kate asks if anyone wants to put their name forward. Imogen puts up her hand, and Gem sarcastically says how confident Imogen must be to nominate herself, causing Kate to glance over curiously at Gem. Amber is also about to nominate, however she backs down at the last minute, although Gem has seen this.

No 30: Toadie is sitting at the table, speaking to Sonya who is over by the kitchen, asking why she spoke to Eric's wife. Sonya says that she wanted to understand the situation, but Toadie fires back that blackmail is an easy concept to understand. Sonya tries to explain the situation as explained to her by Mandy; in disbelief, Toadie asks if Sonya is expecting him to help Eric again. Sonya tells Toadie she wants the whole thing to go away without lawsuits and threats, and Toadie reluctantly asks what Sonya suggests. Sonya puts forward the idea of inviting the family over for lunch, and says that talking about the situation at home is better than talking about it in court. Sonya also offers to be the mediator in the discussions, admitting that, although she isn't qualified in the role, she'd do it for free. Toadie points out that the lunch could blow up in their faces, but Sonya replies that there's not many ways that things could get worse, seeing as lawsuits have already been threatened.

Erinsborough High - Corridor: Gem collars Amber in the corridor, and asks why Amber was holding back from being school captain. Amber admits she felt she had to, as girls like her don't get roles like that. Gem replies that girls like Imogen only get things like that is because they go for them in the first place and back themselves. Amber remains reluctant to do anything, but Gem points out that at school the same thing happened to her, but then she changed and began to set out to get what she wanted. Before heading off, Gem implores Amber to think about it.

No 26: Kyle is checking something on the phone, asking if there is any doubt, when Georgia comes in. He heads into the kitchen sullenly, asking Georgia if he had done anything wrong. Georgia says no, and Kyle says that if she didn't want him to move in with her, she should have said. Georgia replies that she did want to move in with him, but Kyle wonders why she cancelled their lease application on Number 24. Georgia denies doing it, and the penny drops that Gem must have been responsible for cancelling the application.

Erinsborough High - Classroom: Georgia storms in, asking Gem what is going on. Gem admits she cancelled the application, because she didn't want to be a third wheel with Georgia and Kyle and agreed to the application because she thought it would just be her and Georgia on their own. Gem admits to freaking out and that, although she likes Kyle, living with a couple would always remind her that she was single. Georgia asks why Gem didn't speak to her about it, and Gem says that she couldn't because Georgia seemed so excited by the move. Georgia reassures Gem that she will find someone else, and Gem says that it gets harder as they get older.

No 30: Toadie is busy setting the table for lunch. Mandy comes in, after having put the children down for a nap, and Sonya shows her over to the sofa. Eric knocks on the door, and says that he has heard Toadie is willing to settle, but looks in surprise when he sees his wife sat on the sofa. Eric asks what is going on, and whether he is in an ambush, when Sonya says that they will be having lunch. Toadie says that the whole thing is a waste of time, but Sonya continues with the plan by explaining that they are calling a truce, because a vegetable lasagne is not a waste of time! Sonya adds that they are going to eat; afterwards, they can go back to suing each other!

No 22: At the table, Brad, Amber and Josh are ready to eat: Imogen comes in, saying that the campaign for her to be school captain will be kept to social media, rather than posters and pamphlets. Imogen says that, to win, she needs to plan, as just a speech won't be good enough. amber changes the subject, and asks Josh how training is and Brad interjects that they have a plan, once the scan on Josh's injury comes back. Amber asks if they can talk about anything that doesn't involve a plan as they could live in the moment, but Imogen and Josh reply that plans are important to get anywhere in life. Amber looks uncomfortable as Brad kisses Imogen, telling her how proud he is of her.

No 30: At the table, Sonya, Eric and Mandy are sat in uncomfortable silence, whilst Toadie is opening wine in the kitchen. To break the silence, Sonya asks how Toadie is going with opening the bottle, as he appears to be struggling. she points out that they have another corkscrew that he could try instead. As the cork finally pops out, Toadie joins the group at the table, sarcastically telling Sonya that at least she asked if he needed help opening the wine, rather than jumping in as usual. Eric tells Toadie to go easy on Sonya, but he angrily replies that Eric should not be telling him how to talk to his own wife. Mandy points out to Eric that they are guests at Number 30, and although Sonya says he was only trying to help, Mandy continues that Eric often tries to help but sometimes ends up making things worse. Toadie and Sonya then begin arguing about the whole situation, Sonya saying that she can't stop caring about people, whilst Toadie barks back that sometimes she needs to stay out of things. As the argument becomes more heated, Toadie offers a drink to Mandy and Eric, who pass their glasses over gratefully and immediately.

No 26: Georgia is telling Kyle that Gem wants to know what she thinks about the whole situation. Kyle asks Georgia what she is thinking, and Georgia admits that she is hurt, but is worried about Gem being single and around a happy couple all the time. Kyle asks if that's what he and Georgia asks and she says yes, unless there is anything she doesn't know about. Kyle rejects this, and Georgia heads across to sit in his lap, saying that she wants to live with Kyle and loves the whole idea of it, knowing he is always there. Kyle invites Georgia to stay over and urges her to make up with Kate. Georgia offers to try: as they embrace happily, Bossy watches on.

No 22: Amber asks Josh what he thinks of Imogen's chances of being elected. Josh replies that Imogen is a cert, adding that in Western Australia Imogen always seemed to come out on top. Amber reminds Josh that Imogen still needs to win the election and Josh highlights how Competitive Imogen could be. He says one person could beat her, who is smart, popular and good looking. Amber beams, as she thinks Josh is referring to her, but is left embarrassed when it becomes clear that Josh was actually referring to himself.

Harold's Store: Georgia is explaining to Kate that she is forgiving Gem, pointing out how hurt Gem still is. Kate asks how long Gem is planning to play that card; Georgia admits she doesn't know, but refers to her break up with Scotty, pointing out how lucky she was that Kyle was there for her. Georgia adds that if she lost Kyle, she would find it hard to ever get over, and urges Kate to call a truce with Gem, at least for Georgia's sake. Kate replies that she will, as Georgia heads over to buy more coffee.

No 30: Sonya and Toadie are preparing ice cream; Sonya wonders where Eric and Mandy are as they have been in the bedroom for a while. Eric and Mandy walk in, happy, and tell Sonya and Toadie they can't stay for dessert. Eric and Mandy explain that, watching Sonya and Toadie argue, has made them realise where they have been going wrong and has reminded them of who they actually fell in love with. Mandy explains that she is moving back in with Eric, and that Eric is dropping the case on Toadie. Eric apologises, and Toadie says that he won't be suing Eric either. Sonya waves off Eric and Mandy, before asking Toadie if she is as bad as Eric, or if their marriage is as bad as the other. Toadie says that it isn't, but that they shouldn't be fighting and offers to fix it later by going out on a date later.

Erinsborough High - Corridor: Imogen is telling Amber what her plan is, with regards to the election. Eventually, after listening to Imogen go on, Amber asks what would happen if she wanted to run for school captain as well. Amber snaps back at Imogen, when Imogen thinks she is joking, and asks why everyone would think it would be such a joke. Amber adds she is sick of everyone thinking she is dumb, in particular her best friend, and tells Imogen that she is going to win. Imogen tries to apologise saying that she didn't know Amber was even interested in applying.
