Lassiter's Hotel - Reception: Paul and Rebecca are discussing having dinner with Kate, Paul has reserved a table for them. Rebecca hopes it is for Kate’s benefit and
not to impress her. Rebecca is asking what time the reservation is for when Brennan interrupts asking if they have seen Kate. He really needs to talk to her and when Rebecca tells him Kate has gone back to school he thanks them and rushes off to find
her. Paul wonders what has gotten into Brennan and thinks he should call Kate to warn her but Rebecca stops him hoping they’ll get their act together by themselves. They arrange a time to meet then Rebecca tells Paul to stop worrying and leaves. Paul
looks in the direction that Brennan set off in and is clearly not happy with him.
Erinsborough High: Kate is walking through the school yard when Brennan runs over and explains he knows about her diagnosis and he doesn’t care he just wants
them to be together. Kate thinks he hasn’t thought about it properly. He says is doesn’t matter, he loves her. She remembers a conversation they had before about having 3 kids. Brennan dismisses it but Kate asks him to imagine a life without
having his own children. He hesitates too long and Kate believes he would end up hating her. She asks him to leave her alone and walks off. Mark knows he has made a mistake and sighs.
 
Harold's Store: Karl and Susan are discussing his trip to London when Paul walks in. Karl asks if “operation Rebecca” is still in full swing as Paul is carrying
flowers. Paul says it is called romance and Karl should look it up! Susan asks if Paul seriously thinks Rebecca will take him back, with Karl adding there is only so many times you can make the same mistake. Paul asks Karl to remind him how many
times they have split up which shuts Karl up. Susan tells Paul that Rebecca isn’t interested but Paul thinks her still being here speaks louder than her words. Paul leaves, with Karl and Susan commenting that Rebecca being here is having a positive
impact on him. They also discuss the landscaping at the school and that Kyle hasn’t returned to work yet. Karl thinks it will give him structure and Susan seems to have an idea…
No 30 - Garden: Kyle is staring at the tree they planted. Georgia walks out on the balcony and they have an awkward conversation about why Kyle is there.
Georgia asks if Kyle is working again but he isn’t ready. Georgia thinks if she can do it so can he but Kyle says she must be stronger than him. Georgia is finding it hard too, they end up arguing and Georgia asks him to leave.
 
Lassiter's Hotel - Reception: Brennan is waiting in the lobby when Kate comes in from work. Kate asks why he can’t let it go but Brennan says that sharing the rest
of your life with someone doesn’t mean you have to have children. Kate doesn’t believe him. Kate doesn’t think that Brennan loves her enough for it to work but he wants her to give it a go. She thinks he will regret it if they got together,
reminding him that the first thing he spoke about when he came back last year was having a family. Mark tries to talk Kate round saying he will never regret sharing his life with her but she doesn’t think they’re meant to be. Paul sees them and
rushes over asking what is going on, telling Brennan to back off. Kate gets into the lift and leaves but Paul stands in Brennan’s way and tells him to stay away from Kate.
Lassiter's Hotel - Rebecca's Room: Kate goes to see Rebecca upset after her run in with Brennan. She thinks Rebecca told Brennan about her infertility and shouts at
her, throwing the red dress that Rebecca bought Kate back at her and storming out of the room. Rebecca doesn’t have chance to explain it wasn’t her that told him. Kate stops outside Rebecca’s room and cries.
Erinsborough High: Susan gets a text from Kate saying she doesn’t feel well and won’t be in. Susan then spots Kyle working and says it’s great that he’s back at work.
Kyle says it might help him keep his mind off things.
Erinsborough Hospital: Georgia is being thanked by the parents of one of her patients. They leave and Karl and Georgia have a conversation about the patient.
Georgia comments the parents always hold hands and are always together even with everything that has happened to them. She thinks they’re lucky but Karl thinks it is within everyone to be like they are.
 
Erinsborough High: Susan and Kyle are talking about his feelings. Kyle thought he and Georgia would get back together when he found out she was pregnant but now
there’s no hope. Susan thinks they should get through the loss together, not as a couple but should help each other through the grief. Kyle agrees but is not the one who needs convincing that they should face it together.
Erinsborough Hospital: Georgia is talking to Karl about being let down by people she trusted. Karl says that he let Susan down more than once but she gave him another
chance. Georgia doesn’t want to make any more mistakes but Karl thinks life is about mistakes. She is defensive saying that she and Kyle aren’t a couple anymore but Karl thinks that they are grieving over the same loss but it may run deeper than that
and maybe she is grieving over the loss of something else.
Charlie's: Brennan and Kyle are having a drink talking about their problems. Brennan can’t believe he messed up with Kate again and Kyle tells him he said the wrong
thing to Georgia earlier too. Kyle seems to just make things worse every time he sees Georgia. Kyle says he is back working at the school now though. He tells Brennan not to give up on Kate and then goes back to work. Rebecca comes over to talk to
Brennan about what happened earlier with Kate. She thinks Paul should go and check on Kate to see if she is ok as she won’t talk to Brennan or her about it. Brennan thinks he maybe came on a bit too strong which is why Kate is so upset. Rebecca thinks
he needs to find a way of showing Kate that he really wants to be with her.
Erinsborough High: Kyle is taking his frustration out on a piece of wood with a saw. Susan comes to say it looks great and she is leaving for the day but as she
walks off Kyle accidentally cuts himself with the saw. Susan takes Kyle to the hospital to get it checked out.
 
Erinsborough Hospital - Treatment Room/Waiting Area: Karl and Georgia are looking at Kyle’s wound. Georgia thinks it needs sutures but Karl thinks they’ll get away with
steri-strips. He asks Georgia to put pressure on the wound for 10 minutes and leaves. Outside the room Karl tells Susan he is taking the opportunity to get Georgia to spend more time with Kyle. Karl thinks Georgia still has feelings for Kyle but is
protecting herself by shutting him out. Susan and Karl are glad they overcame their differences in the past and want the same for Georgia and Kyle. They decide to leave them in the room a little bit longer. Back inside the treatment room Georgia is
asking Kyle how he managed to hurt himself when he’s always so careful. He says he wasn’t concentrating as he has a lot on his mind. They start talking about the baby and how Kyle is dealing with it. Kyle tells Georgia the last week has been hell
and he is struggling to go through this by himself. He’s missed Georgia but when he asks if she has missed him Georgia leaves the room.
Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Kate is alone, crying on the sofa.
Charlie's: Brennan is sitting on his own, thinking, then looks like he has made a decision and leaves.
Eclipse Apartments - Paul's Penthouse: Paul comes home and comforts Kate. She wants to be alone so Paul leaves her, visibly annoyed at Brennan for upsetting her.
Lassiter's Complex - Outside hotel reception: Paul bumps into Brennan on his way to see Kate. Paul is angry with Brennan for upsetting Kate but Brennan insists he
loves her and he’s here to put things right. Rebecca walks out to see Paul telling Brennan that Kate doesn’t want anything to do with Brennan. Paul carries on telling Brennan that he isn’t good for Kate as he keeps breaking her heart. Brennan
and Paul argue about Brennan’s attempts to show Kate he wants to be with her and Paul refuses to tell Kate that Brennan is sorry. Brennan leaves and Rebecca realises that Paul has been dishonest with her about trying to get Kate and Brennan back
together. She walks off annoyed.
Erinsborough Hospital: Kyle and Karl are finishing up as Georgia walks over. She has softened towards Kyle and lets him know he is welcome to spend time
at the rose tree anytime he wants.
 
Lassiter's Hotel - Rebecca's Room: Rebecca opens the door to Paul. She expects him to give her excuses but he just came to talk to her. He never intended to help
Kate but he wanted Rebecca to stay so he went along with her plan. Paul sits on the bed dejected; he is upset he can’t protect Kate from getting hurt. He tells Rebecca how he would do anything for Kate; she sits beside him to comfort him. Rebecca
realises that Kate means the world to Paul and he gets upset that he can’t help Kate. As Rebecca puts her arm round Paul they begin to kiss.
